[Discussion] Mugiwaraz Vs Buggy Pirates

Well... I donno which crew is stronger.

The Buggy pirates are atleast a 100-man crew, all of em are Impel Down convicts (Level 2). their bounties are above Buggy's (15m) but lower than (50m), an ave of 30-35m. Which means the total bounty of the crew is around 3,500,000,000!!

Ik bounties are given based on crimes not strength, but it was mentioned that they are all notorious pirates known around the world

While on the other hand the Mugiwaraz have a total bounty of 850,000,000.

I guess It's a matter of quantity or quality here.

Mugiwaras win obviously. Buggy's crew is mostly fodder, which the Strawhats plow through. King's Haki from Luffy would probably solo 90% of the crew.

Luffy solo's did people forget he put 50k fodders down with his Haki alone... Buggy may have the numbers but his crew is nothing but fodderz on top of fodderz which is basically 0+0...

Luffy and Zoro took out Buggy and a bit of his crew when they began. Then the Mugiwara got more people. Then the Mugiwara got stronger. Buggy is only a Sichibukai because he was on Gol D. Roger's ship, not because he's strong. Mugiwara take it.

i think they would take buggy pirates down easy they took out 100000 fishmen who are stronger than normal humans so quality is better than quantity

PS now that I think about it, its possible each SH could solo them: Robin could stomp most by using her giant legs, Brook could cut most of them before they even noticed , Nami with her giant storm, Chopper in his monster form and Usoppw ith his giant plants

Luffy could use Haoshoku Haki to easily lower the numbers below half. The M3 would solo the crew unless Buggy,Alvida,Galdino,Cabaji and Mohji have powered up big time.

Current Nami can take out Buggy (unless he has a crazy power up). King's haki solos most of the crew. Zoro cuts some and Sanji kicks some others. And that's the end of the Legendary Buggy and his crew

Comparing these prisoners to the fishman that got taken out on FI is a mistake.

1) Fishmen are physically stronger than humans so Luffy can take out more. That's not true because physical strength got nothing to do with it. Haki is all about will power.

2) Luffy could take out 50K fishman so this works all the time and every time on fodder. Also not true because the Fishmen on FI were rebels who opposed the the kingdom who never had any training and were just enforcers for Hody against the citizens of FI. And they were mixed with human slaves who didn't really have the will to fight at the time. Zoro even commented before fighting. 'It's not like they're elite navy soldiers' which indicates a big gap in power.

In order to get locked up in ID you have to be pretty notorious, Sengoku even said that each and every one of the members who joined Buggy was troublesome.

So all in all, I think Luffy could still haki a lot but not 50K. This fight will be harder than FI and I wonder if the weak trio could handle themselves versus a big mob just like on FI. Besides there might be a few DF-user mixed in with the group. And Buggy's commanders are no joke either, they were always 'a challenge' they need to be a whole bit stronger to survive the NW. Alvida's slippery body will be a troublesome for most Mugiwara's.

I didn't miss the point at all, I just didn't reply to the main point I replied to this part:

FI was only kinda hard at the Hody+water part, remove that and the steroids and any of the M3 could take care of them while the other 8 have a nice afternoon tea in the middle of the plaza

Luffy owns with Haoshoku Haki. Even one of their storngest ,Galdino (Mr3), was knock at haoshoku of Luffy before timeskip.

And member of StrawHats worth more than their bounties.

And also, Buggy Pirates are the weakest Schikibukai, Mugiwara have own 2 so (and before timeskip) ....

Luffy's king Haki takes out 95% of Buggy's crew and Zoro easily takes out the remaining people without a sweat.
