Third Ball - The Uchiha's Destiny

Lately have had this very uneasy, something was constantly changing from the inside. He couldn't tell what it was but he had definitely realized the existence of this emotion. It was driven by the need of sexual desires and the Uchiha had not experienced this in awhile. It was some 170 years or so ago when he experienced this feeling falling irrevocably in love with the girl who ended his life. But now, after centuries have passed he felt this feeling again after recently returning to the village he now called his home; Iwagakure no Sato.

Soon after entering through the gigantic gates of Iwagakure, opening them with just one slight touch of his fingers and the unique nature of earth chakra that he possessed. With every step forward towards the square of Iwagakure, he marked his destiny and his heart's final beats had began to echo. His crimson eyes laid sight on a majestic angel, his blood gushed to his face as he felt the "dub... duB... dUB... DUB." of his heart getting louder as the angel kept walking away from him. At first, this man, even after living such a long life could not explain the feeling. But he slowly began to understand that yet another woman had cursed him. She had reminded him of the Uchiha's Destiny, the word he whispered as the woman continued to walk away had no meaning, but with the soft voice and rhythmic echo of heart it seemed like they were the best words to have said in such situation: "Cupcake. P-orn."

It has been years since she saw the beauty of Iwagakure no sato as she walked gracefully through the familiar village. looked over the village, seeking and feeling for anyone or anything from her past. She remembered the day she finally decided to leave, no trace and no word to the others. Her breathe quickened as she held back tears, images of the Iwarians she loved and would protect with her own life flashed before her eyes. Hitagi rubbed her sweaty palms against her shirt as she continued to walk with no hesitation towards the old tavern that everyone use to hang out at. She was nervous to once again step foot into the place that had left her so many memories engraved in her mind. There was no way she would ever go back, ever leave this place again. This was her home, it had always been her home. "But will they still welcome me here...?" Her thoughts started to wander, not even noticing the man that had been following her. Her mind was distracted by her excitement, her hand pressed against the tavern door. "This is it.. I won't take no for a answer." She was determined to be back even if so many didn't want her there. Hitagi took her first step into the tavern, emptiness is all she saw. She frowned in disappointment, it would usually be busy around this time of day... Hitagi knelt down while rubbing her eyebrow, scanning the dark tavern that once was full of life "They would always be here though," her voice echoed in the tavern...

Rairen broke off the temporary paralysis by shaking all the thoughts at once. The feeling of losing her just because she was walking away scared him to death, he didn't wanted to spend even a moment of his remaining life without knowing if he could be with this living angel. It wasn't the first time he had felt this way, but it was the first time it felt real, it wasn't a dream anymore, he had already forgotten about the past 200 years of tormented life. He had forgotten the burning memories, piercing sounds, and those coldest touch. He had to move forward, towards her, all his heart was screaming was to hold her hand and express his emotions. But it was not that simple for the demon to even be within close proximity of her. He was too afraid; afraid of unintentionally bringing harm to her.

But... the thought of losing her was greater than any other, he had to be with her at all cost. Channeling all the energy and emotions in his body he made it move, with every step it took pace, and soon he realized running towards her. She had already created distance between them but it was nothing for an Uchiha of his caliber to accomplish. He stopped just few feet within the crowd observing she had arrived to her destination. It was the old tavern... the old tavern, which was sealed by Blizzard, Rairen's friend. "Why would someone like her visit the tavern?" a thought crossed his mind and that led to another, Rairen had never seen her anywhere around the village, and his constant duties as a ninja allowed him to remember most of the faces, but such face never crossed paths with his majestic eyes. Without realizing he had activated his sharingan (1 tomoe), a black seal embedded in the blood red color of his iris distinguished him from numerous beings in the world. His eyes were something that allowed him to live a life of such solitude, something he preferred until this very moment.

He witnessed the girl carefully observing every aspect of the outside of the tavern, and then her gentle hands stretched forward opening the doors of the old tavern. And the next moment Rairen felt sad, it wasn't because something happened, it was because he witnessed some distress on the girl's face, just noticing that had tore his heart apart. What could this feeling be? What was happening to such a mighty ninja? WHAT WAS IT? He moved forward, standing right behind her as she was still reminiscing over her own memories. Rairen spoke as if she had read her heart; "The place is a memory now, it's true will lives in another tavern, it has not disappeared." He whispered as it echoed in the empty dark building.

The disappointment Hitagi felt as she pressed her hand against the dusty old floor was something she thought she would never feel about Iwagakure. "They let this place go to hell," she grimaced at the thought while she continued to survey the old tavern. Dust balls and spiderwebs hung from every corner and crack in the old building. It was his voice that she heard first which caused a shiver down her back, she quickly stood and faced the voice that came from the door. His eyes were the first thing Hitagi saw, "Uchiha..." She whispered. Not wanting to make a hasty move, she kept still and of course, both eyes were glued on the unknown man. Hitagi hadn't recalled this man ever entering Iwagakure before but then again, Iwagakure were always bringing in new recruits. But also, she had been gone for years, new faces are always around in villages. It was the old faces she wanted to see, her fellow Iwarians that she remembers so dearly.

Hitagi needed to quickly think of something to say or even to do. She doesn't know if this man is a threat or not. She slipped her hands slickly under her coat to seem like she is armed but sadly, she came here with only the clothes on her back. Hitagi kept full eye contact on the Uchiha, "Why is his sharingan activated..?" She wandered as she stepped slowly back. "I was just looking. I didn't mean to break in or.. Wait, the tavern has not disappeared? You mean there is another?" Hitagi tried to keep the excitement from showing in her voice but couldn't stop a little girly squeak escape her lips with the last question. She quickly made her expression unemotional as she relaxed her muscles. "Don't show weakness, Hitagi." she told herself while stepping closer to the Uchiha. "Not like it matters.. I was just passing through." She appreciated that her voice sounded strong and stern this time as she attempted to get by the unknown Uchiha.

Rairen had instantly observed that the girl was on guard after noticing his presence in the building, he didn't wanted that, but failed to realize that it was due to his unintentional activation of the majestic eyes. Regardless, he didn't wanted to scare her away, after witnessing her beauty up-close, he was even more mesmerized. Her face was partially covered with the unique glasses she wore, it perfectly suit her appearance as if it was a part of her. "Why would she hide her eyes?" was the question that struck his mind as he tried to see through the glasses but could never truly capture the beauty. He felt strange for sneaking up on her, but didn't wanted to lose this moment after realizing she had shown a strange interest in the "new tavern". "Fear not, I am a citizen of this village, I don't mean any harm. If you wish-" hesitant, he continued "I can take you to the new tavern, it is close by." He finished the sentence and the clock ticked for an answer, the wait for even few seconds was worse than experiencing hell, he didn't wanted to hear no. Please don't say now. Pls don't say no. Pls. Pls. :O

After his assuring words that no harm would come to her, she noticed his hesitation when offering to take her to the new tavern. Hitagi shouldn't let this opportunity go by though, especially if it gets her closer to seeing her old friends again. Grateful that her anxiousness doesn't show through her glasses and cloak. She nodded yes, not wanting her excitement to show through her voice again. Hitagi was tempted to take off your glasses so she could rightfully introduce herself but as her hands got close to her face, she quickly put them back down to her side. Hitagi didn't fully trust this man and didn't want to have her high hopes be broken if this was a trap. She shrugged the idea off as she realized he never told her his name or even why he would help her. "I'm sorry but could I get your name first?" she said with ease while securing her cloak right around her. Hitagi felt like he could see right through her which made the cloak seem to not be there. She felt uneasy while she waited for a answer. "Just get through this and you are a step closer to what you want..."

It was so assuring just witnessing that nod, an agreement to visit the new tavern with Rairen. It as as if he asked for marriage and she said yes. Okay now, thats a bit exaggeration but the message is similar. His heart skipped a beat, and he found himself slightly smiling. A rare sight indeed because this man hadn't smiled in years. The encounter didn't end yet, as she asked for an introduction from the strange individual who stood in-front of her. Rairen felt embarrassed that in all this excitement and nervousness he had forgotten even to properly introduce himself. "Apologies for the rudeness, I am Rairen, Rairen Uchiha. What would your name be?" he questioned in return.

Hitagi was surprised when a smile formed on the man's face. A strange feeling formed in her stomach but it was even more strange to see a stern face turn soft in a few seconds. She had almost missed his introduction by his distracting smile, "Rairen Uchiha.." It started to repeat over and over in her mind. Did she hear correctly? That name.. It couldn't be the same Uchiha, he has been dead for hundreds of years. Her mouth dropped open in surprise, she quickly closed it in embarrassment as if he could see it through her cloak. Hitagi realized she didn't introduce herself even after he had just apologized to her for his rudeness. To make up for it, she slowly took her glasses off and moved her cloak off one shoulder so she could reveal her face. "My name is Hitagi Uchiha." She bowed as she spoke, not only to make up for her rudeness but to show respect to one of the oldest living Uchiha.

Rairen was rather surprised as this girl started taking her cloak and glasses off, he didn't knew how to process everything in. It was for the first time in his life that he couldn't comprehend simple facts, she was beyond anything he could compare to, not only her hair that gently fall on her back, not only her eyes which shared the same bloodline limit as his; yet they were the darkest of black color without the activation, but her face smoothly but surely did justice to her body, a sight unparalleled. The fact that she was Uchiha secretly added to her real beauty, but somehow the feeling was also hurting him in his heart, as if the history was repeating itself. The feeling lasted only for a short interval as something greater has ceased his body and his mind, the only sight he wanted to witness was the one with her. Snapping himself out of the confusion as the Uchiha bowed in respect, Rairen still mesmerized tried to accept her respect and almost whispered; "I will guide the way." He turned hiding and consuming all the emotions, and started walking towards the tavern without any comment on the clan or her name.

Hitagi felt completely naked as Rairen took a good look at her. She hardly showed herself to anyone anymore, not out of fear of the man but the fear of getting too close to anyone again. Hitagi didn't want the pain she felt those some years ago but she couldn't help but be intrigued and drawn to this Uchiha. "It's just cause he is a Uchiha... Just a lost connection that is being formed again," she tried to trick her mind into thinking that this connection was just from a very old blood line. Hitagi placed her glasses around her neck as she heard Rairen, barely, saying he will guide her the way. Before she started to following him, Hitagi took one more good look at the old tavern and with a smile, she put her cloak back on both shoulders so it wouldn't fall while following Rairen. She quickly made her face unemotional once again before she turned around to follow the Uchiha. Hitagi kept a few paces behind Rairen as she drew in her surroundings and the memories that came with every familiar sight. "I'm back Iwa..." Her thoughts became lost in the past as they continued to walk.

Both individuals had began the walk, Rairen had noticed the safe distance she kept from him, it was understandable as he himself won't trust a stranger that had stalked up on him. He wanted to continue talking, listen to her voice once again, listen to her story, her life, he wanted so many answers but couldn't find words to start the conversation. With every step forward he knew that the short journey with her as ending and his heart kept racing and anxiously was taking over him. An Uchiha of such status who had slain monsters after monsters, had cut heads of several armies and was afraid of saying few words, he felt pity for himself.

Mustering all he could gather, he gathered the will to talk. After all he was one of the elites of the village, a rock beyond all, the one who could crush strongest opponents with a flick of his finger, he spoke; "I have never seen you around, you don't seem like someone from here. Are you a tourist or someone who is returning back?" He said avoiding eye contact as he was leading the way, but slowing his pace to allow her to catch up.

A small smile started to form on her lips while her thoughts wandered deeper into the past. Her fellow Iwarians all together, joking and laughing, picking on the new recruits, and just relaxing in the tavern. Hitagi's memories were cut off once Rairen's voice came into her mind. A voice that didn't belong in the memory... She hadn't realized that she had caught up with him as she glanced to the side of her. Actually looking at him again made her heart skip a beat and she almost choked on her words but Hitagi was able to finally answer his question after a deep intake of air. "I am actually..." she hesitated at her next words. Hitagi felt uneasy, should she tell him that she is a old Iwarian that had return from a long leave. Would they think she was a traitor? Hitagi shook her head, arguing with herself. "I have done nothing wrong.. I only left." She quickly decided. "This is my home." Hitagi looked around at Iwagakure as she continued to speak, "This is where I always have belonged. I have returned to seek forgiveness and hopefully be welcomed back as a Iwarian." Pride shown through her eyes as she thought of being a Iwarian again.. A true Iwarian..

Hitagi looked around at Iwagakure as she continued to speak, "This is where I always have belonged. I have returned to seek forgiveness and hopefully be welcomed back as a Iwarian." Pride shown through her eyes as she thought of being a Iwarian again.. A true Iwarian..
The words from her perfect lips ran like an enchanted bell in his ears, it took over his soul singing and dancing to the heavens, it was as if all the worries and troubles, all the choices he had made until now meant nothing and everything, they all had gotten him here, to this very surface where he had the eternal pleasure to meet this girl. 'He couldn't be more happier' is what he realized, but he was struck once again with love... When she talked about her return to this village, he could clearly identify the Iwarian's soul that lived within her, the heart of an Iwarian was as a furnished rock, a rock distinguished from all yet similar to all at the same time, "She was one of us..." he thought as he listened her finishing her thoughts. He felt her being apologetic, she missed this place and regretted all the time spent away from her home; Rairen was fully aware of this feeling, he had never felt at home anywhere but in Iwagakure, he could not think of abandoning or even considering to leave this place, and it was very assuring to find that she was the same.

He chuckled on her words and his thoughts, "Welcome home, Miss Hitagi." His eyes closed with a simile on his face, his head titled to the side childishly as he greeted with the warmest welcome he could imagine at that spot. "I wish you'd told us of your return sooner, there are people who take this very seriously and you might have found yourself witnessing the greatest festival of your life the moment you stepped in from the gates." He chuckled once again at the thought of Blizzard, Aaron, Erzo, Mathias and several other Iwarians assembling the so-called-welcome-party as an excuse to blow shit up.

"Somehow..." he hesitated but brought himself to say the words that he has been thinking, he wasn't walking forward anymore, still, looking at the sky as the sun set on the tall rock building that was their destination, in-sight. "I feel stupid by saying this, but it felt like fate had brought us together here. An Uchiha, I haven't met many in past century, there are very few remain scattered. And above all, you're one of us, an Iwarian. It sure is a lucky day for Iwa having its daughter returning back." He looked into eyes of angel, she was no stranger anymore, her eyes magnificent shining ever ray from the golden sunset into Rairen's, so calming, he completed his thoughts with a whisper and a smile... "Welcome back."

She was stunned by his chuckle and the warm smile that came across his face after she spoke. Hitagi felt more relaxed at how at ease Rairen was being about her return. Even though he didn't know her, he knew her spirit, the spirit of a Iwarian. Her poker face slowly turned into a returning warm smile, something she hadn't done in years. Something she hadn't done since she left her home... It was strange to see how his face turned so welcoming especially for a Uchiha. Uchiha were never known to show emotion and Hitagi learned quickly to hide her emotions over the years of growing up in Konoha. Only those she was close to, knew her real personality behind her mask. Hitagi felt the warm, attachment that she had for Iwagakure come from Rairen and she giggled a bit at his statement about a celebration. She knew if they had a celebration of any kind, no one would remember the next day. Especially, if the old Iwarians were there, partying hard as usual. She felt sadness and excitement at the thought of seeing them all once again.

His next words caught her off guard, especially when she almost didn't stop when he did. Hitagi turned to face him as she listened to him talk, his face was so peaceful. She kept her eyes on him as he looked ahead of them, not knowing what his thoughts were going with this. This feeling returned, the attachment.. fear.. She couldn't help but feel her face warm as he spoke. It's true, not many Uchiha are around anymore especially in Iwagakure. Hitagi smiled with fear pounding in her heart as his words stuck in her mind while he turned his face towards hers. Their eyes locked, Hitagi tried to relax but once his eyes caught a hold of yours, she felt like she was melting. His last words were barely noticable, the welcome she was hoping for slipped through his lips. Her voice was soft and vulnerable as she answered, "Thanks for finding me and for leading me back to my heart.." Her eyes widened at the her own words. She quickly turned towards the place he was looking at before. A rock building that looked so familiar, a bigger version of the old tavern that they had come from, stood proud and majestic. Hitagi stood in awe at the new improved tavern, not knowing what to do or say once her eyes caught the sight of it.

Rairen found himself embarrassed when he realized he had been glaring at the angles standing besides her, but he could tell that she didn't mind the affection he had for her at all, which was a little assuring. She quickly turned her face away to the new tavern, observing its architecture. Seeing her a bit puzzled at the sight Rairen continued; "Pleasure is all mine." he said replying to her thanks... "It has been awhile since I returned here too. I am sure they are the same as you knew them back then. But... I'd rather not enter through the main gate." He turned towards her once again expanding his arms offering her to carry in his arms, assuming she might not be able to jump on the roof from this distance he waited for answer; "We'd have to go through the roof."

Hitagi was confused at his statement of having to go through the roof. She was more taken aback when he offered to carry her up there, she almost wanted to laugh in his face. Her lips formed a half smile realizing that he must not know how capable she is to take care of herself let alone be able to get to the roof. Hitagi ignored his open arms as she glanced up at the roof, "Its not that far," she thought with a giggle that escaped her lips. She faced Rairen and got closer to him as she moved her hand to his shoulder, patted it softly, "I think I got this," Hitagi said with a little humor in her voice. Without hesitation, she moved quickly and swiftly up onto the roof and then glanced over her shoulder at Rairen. "Are you getting slow on me already, Rairen?" She chuckled softly to herself. Avoiding to make a old man joke, she scanned Iwagakure and captured how gorgeous it was to observe the village from so high up. Hitagi closed her eyes and breathe deeply the familiar scents of Iwagakure and listened to the villagers going about with their lives.

"Haha, what was I thinking offering support to an Uchiha's blood" laughed Rairen, it was a strange feeling of happiness, he felt her hands on his shoulder as she took off in an instant. She was looked back waiting for him to catch up, it was then when Rairen was sure that this girl was no ordinary, after all she was Uchiha. With an instant he disappeared in the thin air being right beside her, as they flew in the air like angels, the night had fallen and the stars of Iwagakure were brighter than ever. They landed on the roof with steps touching gently on the rocky roof, as if they had no mass. It was then when he had given everything to love, holding her left hand and pulling it closer to his chest. He stood there, very close to her face, quite in the magnificent night.

As they arrived on top of the tavern, Hitagi's heart started beating harder in excitement and nervousness. There was no mistake that this was what she was waiting for all day. His hand went through her fingers which made her tense as he pressed her hand to his chest. She felt his warmth come from his body as her face got closer to his. Hitagi couldn't stop the blush that formed across her face while she tried to avoid eye contact. There was no doubt that this feeling was what she was dreading for years. Hitagi realized she needed to move, it can't be like this. She swore many years ago, that love and attachment are dangerous and Hitagi can't let it take over her. She pulled away, not with force but with ease to not hurt his feelings so much. She felt his need for their connection but she learned from the past, love leads to pain and suicidal thoughts. She wasn't going to go through it again.

when you guys figure what to do, ask a mod who is online to open or trash the thread, depending on what action you decide to take.

Life is short, and we have to do what we can to make every single moment count. There has to be no regrets in a perfect life, every moment lived to the fullest, taking risks as if your soul was on the tip of a sword. But this moment, it wasn't anything like that; it was very simple, yet the complex, defining the night to these two individuals on the roof-top of the tallest building in the village of Iwagakure. The moon was the brightest today and closest today, for a second one might believe it to be an entity on the planet. In the darkest sky this moon lit up guiding every firefly to its own light. Even after all that might, it was positioned such that it was just a background for the eternal moment that the two were experiencing on the rooftop. The light of the moon was shining through the silhouettes of the clothes.

Rairen had indeed held this girl's hand, brought her closer to him, but it wasn't due to any lust. The intention that was within the emotion was mixed itself, partly because even Rairen didn't had the true answer. Her hands felt on his hands sealed perfectly together, their fingers almost intertwined for the instant he had her closest to him. This feeling wasn't normal, it wasn't something to be explained by logic. It felt like an everlasting moment ending within the shortest interval possible. He wished it had last forever, but no one can deny reality. It had to end.

The other reason for his actions was the image that his eyes had shown him before he took off, he had foreseen the ruckus in the tavern and knew what was soon to follow, even after realizing how powerful this angel in front of him was, he still wanted to protect her. He wanted to force his life on the sword it it wasn't already on it, there was no sane explanation for his feeling, but they were all real. When she was closer to him, he heard her heartbeat race, he had memorized every single note of her heart in that short moment, he felt her warmth within reach as she tried to avoid eye contact. On the other hand, he wasn't afraid to let his eyes witness the beauty, as much as he can, because deep within there was a fear of not seeing that beauty again, what if he was to die this very moment, the only wish he would want to come true will be seeing her again. and again. and again!

To no surprise Hitagi hesitated, just like he did countering his latent feelings, as she had her hand release and took a gentle step back, he moved further closer to her, now enough to see pass her shoulder, wrapping his left hand around her waist he looked into her eyes as his wings opened... Whispering "Fire Style: Fire Angle Wings."

[Katon: Kasai Tenshi Tsubasa] Fire Style: Fire Angel Wings
Type: Defence
Rank: B
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra Cost: 50
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The User concentrates his/her Fire chakra in his/her shoulders.
Then, the user shapes it into two (angel) wings made out of Fire. The user can use as a fire shield against weapons like Kunai's, Shuriken's Etc. This, jutsu can also allow the user to Fly into the air.
Note:
♦ This, jutsu can be used once per battle.
♦ This, jutsu lasts two turns.
♦ The user must be Sannin rank or above.

Majestic wings flashed opened from his shoulders as the flames burned to complete the shape of wing as large as a phoenix, covering meters on either side and then with just one flap he had them wrapped like a dome around her, it was far from touching her, just enough to provide her warmth of an angle, it wasn't to be closer to her, it was to protect her from what followed.

His right eye had turned into the third seal of the forbidden ability that the Uchiha possessed, he had seen the incoming as the rooftop crashed and they are swept off a floor to stand on. Being close enough so that her body is pressing against him, he held her tight as the wings had already blocked the debris raised from either side, and flapping once again they were lifted off the roof, meters high, all within a matter of second. His wings kept them flying, and safe as the witnessed the tavern from the hole opened in the roof. Rairen seemed not bothered at all, as if it was a "regular" thing, his focus was much drawn by the angel he had in his arms.
