You've beaten us..Looking forward to my team's home fixture against Arsenal, consdering our nice play in last EPL game and home atmosphere, will be a huge turning point if we win today, time to raise the voice..#gg United
Our season starts here, watch out boys..You've beaten us..RVP.
But we are still first.. B)
I agree with your thoughts about United, our defence was good yesterday..Outstanding play from United yesterday, first half they completely bossed the game in the attacking area, second half they excelled in the defending department. Very impressive, they seem to be back on track and slowly creeping up to the top of the table, especially when you look at their upcoming fixtures and the rest of the teams above them.
Arsenal can still survive being at the top till the half way point of the EPL if they can beat City and Chelsea in the coming fixtures very soon.
Man City wow once again losing to Sunderland at home like the 4th time now?? I think they're jinxed.
Liverpool have some easy games coming up (or what people deem easy) so they have an opportunity to slip to first position, same goes to Southampton, who have been superb so far, although they still have to play some really tough teams.
Honestly I don't think Southampton are gonna last long at that position as well. They had a good run, but the tougher teams are on their way. This season is super interesting, this is one EPL that you just cannot say who will win the title. I'm enjoying it so much that I don't wanna miss a single game, every weekend there's only one place to be.I agree with your thoughts about United, our defence was good yesterday..
Considering yesterday's performance I doubt whether Arsenal will do good against Chelsea, City game will probably end up in draw, City are pretty much looking confused and jinxed, just what you said.
I don't know how far Southampton can go, since now United are 2 points behind and that single point difference with Chelsea.I am not expecting them to beat Arsenal next weak, even if they did good against Hull, as it is away match, but who knows, EPL is going to be interesting this time around..![]()
Few weeks ago I wouldn't have thought United could retain the title, but now I'm not so sure, I actually think they're making a comeback of a lifetime. This title could go either way as I've said above, there's no telling who will win it this season.I honestly think that champs are gonna be Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal. Maybe even Tottenham. But I don't see United defending the titlte, or City gaining the trophy. They are too bad this season. But, still, the season has just started.
Rooney is the arguably the best player in the EPL, his performances in the last few games were absolutely phenomenal. Scoring goals is actually just a bonus for him, his movement, vision, creativity and versatility are outstanding. He truly is a complete player. I still can't believe how much energy he has.United's win blew the title race open to 8 teams. And that's thrilling...
The Boxing Day is gonna be decisive moments for all these 8 teams. I predict, this is where some of those teams will either take a moral blow or will gain the right momentum.
As for United's match, I was proud of the team against Arsenal. One of their best performances this season, and tactically, the best match from Moyes. He added the right dose of dynamism to the midfield as Jones/Valencia physically bullied the midfield lynchpins of Arsenal game. Rooney had one of his most complete performance - simply heroic. Rooney's work-rate and versatility is a forte, so many few world-class players lack. Wayne may do celebrity tantrums at times but he is definitely not the star player who'll dictate a suitable rhythm to his. He give his 200%, despite his status. And frankly, the whole team played awesomely well; they never gave a breather to Arsenal. The aggression was top-class; and no more lethargic defences or foolish mistakes.
I really like Messi, he is a brilliant player, but I have to be honest this season so far AND the last he hasn't impressed me at all. I was already surprised that he won the Ballon d'or last year, because I did feel Ronaldo was better overall. But anyway I'm not going to get into that now, this season he's just unlucky with injuries, this is his second already, just when I thought he was showing signs of being in form again after the Milan match.Lionel messi is out for about 6-8 weeks due to an injury sustained on his left leg against last sunday match against real betis, frankly im sad as a barca fan to hear this but if messi injury was to come at any time this would be the best as the ucl knock out phase dont start till next year and barca can beat celtic without messi as seen already and can beat ajax too, the only tricky problem might be athletico madrid but i think we can pull that off, this confirms messi chances of not winning the ballon d or this year as i feel ribery should win it, i also fill barca can still be top of the table until january before messi comes back the only signing we need to make is a CB which for some reason rosel zubizabelta dont think we need smh.
