[Discussion] Punk Hazzard Sucked.

In my opinion punk hazard was a real let down. Like don't get me wrong, it had it's good moments, Law slicing up Vergo, but that was pretty much it. Like the Luffy vs Caesar fight was so gay, it didn't even feel like a final fight. I think Grizzly Magnum should have just domed Caesar like Jet Pistol wrecked Lucci. Also I found I didn't have the same hype when the mugiwara's came out victorious, like in the CP-9 arc I found myself REALLY wanting them to win. I think the problem was that for the most of the arc the mugiwara's were running away and this made them feel really weak. There was also no build up of fights. Like there were attempts to do this like the Zoro vs Monet fight which wasn't too bad but it was no where near as epic as the Zoro vs Kaku fight. One Piece needs to do an arc where each of the crew fights a battle AND THEN Luffy domes the main antagonist. I really hope the Dressrossa Arc finishes strong like the CP-9 arc.

These are just my opinions so feel free to argue against them but not hate. BTW I am not an anime only person, I am also up to date with the manga.

You must be an anime only person. Trust me, this arc is fantastic if you look at it overall.

Say for instance you watch the entire arc , from start to finish only then you could understand its OPness U_U
Plus, punk hazard isn't even finished yet. Still a couple of episodes to go man !! Also , don't wanna spoil much but the ending of this arc is pretty darn awesome shurorroorroro!! XD

I agree, I wasn't too excited about punk hazard, but at least the dressrosa arc seems more promising. And yes I do read the manga.

Read the edit...we saw doflamingo more in the arc, we saw Akoiji, law and luffy established an alliance, Law vs vergo was awesome, that scene with robin Luffy and zoro about to take brownbeard's men's coats was funny also IMO we got the most bada$$ page:

Yeah man I see where you're coming from. Like this arc gave some REALLY good information so perhaps "sucked" wasn't the right word to describe it. However I still feel they could have made it more epic, you know?

I'm trying to say that every arc goes like this. Slow start, boring flashback, final fight and then the celebrations Lol. But this arc had some of these plus many:

OP battles
- Smoker v Law
- Smoker v Vergo
- Law v Vergo
- Sanji v Vergo
- Luffy, Franky, Robin, Smoker v Ceasar Clown
- Luffy v Ceasar Clown
- Zoro & Tashiji v Monet

Moments

- That moment when Zoro & Kinnemon slice the door and everyone enters. That was hectik!!!
- Zoro giving that speech to Luffy
- Law cutting down Vergo + half the factory. His speech also [ it sent chills down my spines ]
- Aokiji turning up , saving Smoker
- Doflamingo turning up, looks promising

Yep dude, its sucks. The only thing that was interesting seeing on punk hazzard arc was, momonsuke's df fruit in action, I mean seeing that reminds us about dbz... and Law's badass moments like when chopper was roped around Law's head.

Yeah man I am completely understanding what you're saying. But you know that feeling where each character is paired up in a 1V1 fight and they come out victorious? I just like to see that kind of stuff you know. Like on Katekyo Hitman Reborn, all the fights are like Tsuna's Guardians fight individual enemies and eventually Tsuan fights the main dude. (Sorry if you don't know about KHR, it was just something that came to mind.

so you just want an anime like that were the fight patterns are predictable and linear . interesting

like a tournament anime.... last i checked O.P was an adventure but dressrosa introduced tournament stuff for persons like you.
