Mei VS Itachi! (No restrictions!)

I'd like to see Itachi fans prove how alive Itachi beats Mei in this scenario.

Shuriken are melted via acid mist and the katon is countered via a much more powerful suiton.

Itachi can't use amaterasu against Mei because one, his vision is blocked by acid mist. Second, the katon and its smoke will be blocking his line of sight. Thirdly, Mei's suiton will also block his line of sight.

You think she would put up a mist somewhere she cannot see? I think she would take more precautions. Obviously the Katon would not block Itachi's LoS because he would shoot it somewhere besides directly in front of himself. The smoke would have no chakra in it, so he could see through smoke. How good are Mei's reactions?

Considering they have full knowledge, them being alone means that Mei isn't going to harm any allies or civilians by putting up the acid mist. For the aforementioned reasons, I think that will be her signature move. Since Mei doesn't know the location of her opponent, she is going to end up using acid mist which covers a 360 degrees radius in order to take Itachi down. Itachi has no 360 degree attacks so he can't touch Mei. As for the katon argument, you do realize it has to first travel all the way to Mei in order to evaporate all the mist in the air before Itachi gains the line of sight. Furthermore, if Itachi doesn't shoot directly in front of his line of sight, how does he accurately aim the katon at Mei and acquire a line of sight to Mei when he himself has to face in the direction of the fireball in order to identify Mei's location?

Well genjutsu is useless since there is no eye contact in the totally dark cave and Mei outlasts complete susanoo.

So I don't see any reason why that wouldn't suffice for the short amount of time Itachi needs to plow through anything Mei throws at him [Granted by the Yata Mirror] and finisher her. Also, isn't Itachi able to control his Susano'o without even being inside of it? [

So I don't see any reason why that wouldn't suffice for the short amount of time Itachi needs to plow through anything Mei throws at him [Granted by the Yata Mirror] and finisher her. Oh, right, totally didn't dawn on me that the Sharingan can't locate people in the mist. And with the whole leaving the Susano'o thing; I was implying that if Itachi can remotely control it without being inside of it, he can just send it in there after Mei, but never mind, I wasn't thinking straight. It's kind off late, and I'm pretty tired trying to write this research paper for school.

Anyways, only other option I can come up with is Itachi lighting up a good majority of the cave with Amaterasu like he did at the Uchiha hideout, but I suppose solid rock isn't very flammable. If not, then, I suppose... Mei wins.
