So, who wins? I currently see them as equals and can't really decide myself

Basically this, they both have near equal chances of one shotting each other with their Ms techniques it's just comes down to the one that does it first. I'd go with itachi though as the manga has portrayed him to be the superior between the two but not by a large margin.

Both combatants are in character, therefore there will be no race to one-shot off the bat. Anyways, I'll give this to Itachi, high difficulty. Itachi has already proven to be the superior combatant, demonstrated when he effortlessly pressured Kakashi and two other jounin to go on the defensive nearly the entire fight.

However, on second thought... considering the fact that Kakashi is already aware of Itachi's MS prowess, while on the flip side Itachi has no clue of Kakashi's kamui; I can see Kakashi pulling off a kamui for the win as did Itachi with Tsukiyomi back in part one when he caught Kakashi off guard. So in short; Kamui is haxxed Af, and Kakashi probably wins more times then not.

Kakashi takes this IMO. As we know that now Kakashi has developed to the point where he defeated deathbed Obito.
The only think Itachi opposes on Kakashi is his MS techniques, but Kakashi having information of them like Naruto did. Kakashi has fooled Itachi by creating a clone, so this tactic will happen and lure Itachi in a trap where Kakashi kamui his head off instantly.

How do you know that Itachi was talking about Kakashi's MS? Because if my memory serves me correct, Kakashi never even activated his MS in that fight. But I see your point regarding Itachi assuming Kakashi would have Amaterasu, thus would be prepared for it. So I don't know. Depends on the knowledge both characters have on each other. Also, isn't Kamui harder to dodge/avoid then Amaterasu?
