I used to think he's one of the strongest akatsuki until I joined the base.

He's immortal ..
He's so skilled ..
He never feared any enemy ..
He killed asuma within one shot ..
Kakuzu was afraid of him and he said he can't kill hidan ..
He said he will kill pain after he finished with konoha's ninja ..
He lost because he was careless not because he was weak ..
Also he managed to capture 2nd tailed jinchircki easily ..

He didn't become an akatsuki member from nothing ..

... What? Sakura didn't blow up any mountain of any kind. Maybe she collapsed a cave with the help of Granny Chiyo and Sasori throwing jutsu all over the place, but that's about it. Do you see Hidan chopping five mountains in a single swipe of his halberd? Didn't think so.

None of them are debatable , they destroyed Hidan before he can get any blood from them . Most of them are long rage attack characters or have OP jutsus that will finish him.

Yes he can but that possibility is as likely as winning the lottery.

He's not underrated, its just that his ability to become immortal is easily bypassed by lots of ninja who dont just use physical lattacks, for example he can get burned to a crisp or melt. Immortality is overrated in the nv.

Hidan is strong to those that don't know how his technique works, his battle with Shikamaru was a classic brains vs braun fight where Shikamaru's intelligence was far greater. In that battle against team 10 + Kakashi, why do you think he wasn't being serious? there was no reason for him to hold back. He just got outsmarted, I mean lets face it, the proof is in the pudding. Hidan is far from being the sharpest tool in the shed, hence his demise I am not saying he is weak I am saying he is dumb and rather loud lol.
