Yet you attempted to assert your belief as fact, by "mathematically" quantifying how how character development should be evaluated, and claiming my opinion was false. Hypocrite much? Lolopin·ion
noun \ə-ˈpin-yən\
: a belief, judgment, or way of thinking about something : what someone thinks about a particular thing
Bringing up Orochimaru and Sasuke serves to further prove how similar Rin and Sakura are. Sasuke and Ori are intended to be analogous in the story and Rin and Sakura have WAY more in common than they do right down to the type of ninja they are.
Once again digressing from your original statement. As I said, just because they are parallels means little besides the role they fit, as proved by Orochimaru and Sasuke.
You seem to think I hate Hinata and this is reallllly chapping your ass. I don't hate Hinata. I think she's one-dimensional. She has had no expansion on herself as a person besides how much she likes "Naruto's big hand." (Actual quote.) I'd like to see Hinata focus more on becoming the matriarch of the Hyugas and less on how much she likes a boy. Similarly, I'd love to see Kishi expand on Sakura's powerups. Sadly, we won't ever get any of this because Kishi is a big fat sexist.
You most likely do dislike hinata, seeing as there has been a great amount of tension between the Sakura and Hinata fan base, but that is beside the point. It is clear that you're statements are exaggerated and biased, telling only a fraction of her character just adds on the clarity of your bias.
Uhm. Are we still talking about Rin and Sakura? Because you seem reeeeeeally focused on Hinata.
I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were trying to abandon you’re farcical previous point.
So basically what you're saying is Rin could have totally been a Tsundere but we would never know because Obito is only recalling the moments she talked to him about becoming Hokage?
She isn't a Tsundere. It was purposefully made clear when we where aloud to see her when she became upset with Obito. It is also supported greatly by her actions throughout other flashbacks. She showed no signs of such behavior patterns, and therefor believing she is tsundere is idiotic at best.
Point being, it's impossible to judge what her personality was like from the few flashbacks we've seen. Again, assuming you've never seen Sakura before, I could show you the few scenes of her healing Naruto, feeding him, holding him when he's hurt, hugging him, blushing at him, and you would totally think she's this wilting flower when she's actually nothing of the sort.
Rin was included in a 5 chapter mini series, and had flashbacks in at least 7 other chapters. She has been shown in various situations, and her actions have never suggested that she was a tsundere in any way. If we look at the parallel same scenes that Rin has been shown in, each scene clearly shows the gap in maturity and goodness that separates these characters.
From Obito and Rin's first meeting, to the bench scene, to how Rin handles her crush and her friend when they are in disputes and Obito insults Kakashi, even to how Rin handled her relationship with Kakashi, it is completely clear. Even in Rin's final hours she put the village over herself, while Sakura was willing to abandon the village, and Naruto for one person.
You cannot, with any certainty, describe Rin's personality or attitudes with any sort of accuracy from what we've seen. What we can extrapolate is both Rin and Sakura:
You clearly can in the variety of scenarios she has been shown in. It's really sad that you cannot accept this.
They look alike, both medical nin, both taking care of the "hero" who wants to be Hokage, both end up with a crush on the "bad boy" team member as kids, both are the object of affection of the hero, both were attacked by the "bad boy" team member (You'll see this similarity come into play, mark my words), both swear to support the hero as he becomes Hokage...
You continue describing how they are parallels, yet time and time again I have told you that I believe that I have never believed that was false.
For some reason it really pains you that you like a character that has so much in common with Sakura. I'm not sure why.
I don't have a problem with Sakura. The only thing that I find distasteful is how upset Sakura fans seem to be because Rin is favored over they're favorite character. It seems you and many other then tried to compensate by claiming they are identical, when they clearly are not. Yet even though I and many others have explained why they like her over Sakura, and how they are clearly different, you still seem to deny what is an obvious fact.
