It has more strategic fights than part 1 and the overall powerscale goes up which is more fun.

I actually dislike the god forms, like huge Susano'o and Bijuu Modes. I'm talking about fights like Naruto vs Pein, Sasuke vs Itachi, Sasuke vs Deidara. The only fight in Part 1 with any edge on Shippuden is Rock Lee vs Gaara. And fights aren't everything, plot plays a huge part, and Shippuden has a naturally better plot since Part 1 was build-up for Shippuden.

Part1 was corny. Nothing really happened outside of Sasuke leaving.
The fights constantly explained shit within 2 secs of it happening. I don't need 10 mins fo flash backs to explain a punch I Literally just saw. Outside of narutos little tween world None of the stuff they did actually mattered. 300 Episodes and the only world impacting fights were the 3rd hokage and that was about it. Sasuke leaving didn't really matter to anyone else but a bunch of whiny kids. Neji getting his ego smacked down didn't matter, A bunch of children fighting at the exams didn't matter. There was hardly a moment where anyone was in real danger thanks to the adults coming in to save everyone. kakashi was soo over hyped about having 1000 moves yet we are lucky to see more than 5 that don't theme around lighting or moves every other Ninja can do. Sakura was useless the entire show.

As much as like part I I can admit I did enjoy the first half of Part II more. The power scale went up but it wasn't as ridiculous as these giant Kyuubi, Susanoo, 3 head dog, Akamichi Giants, monsters with skyscraper swords that look like a DNA Strands, oversized chakra sucking trees with rin-aharingsn eyes on them....now I've said too much lol

The limit for me is the small susanoos. Shinsuusenju and PS is a bit much

Part 1 is better, the fights always seemed more strategic and more thought out now it seems like
