First of all, let's set aside those hate for a certain character. I know there are lots of haters here. Let's just contribute whatever idea we can come up with. I would like to give my thought on why FTG seal was created and why chakra transfer technique is deadly with FTG. Please read and no hating!

術式, Jutsu-Shiki

To activate FTG, the user places a special seal or "technique formula" (術式, jutsu-shiki) to mark an intended destination. After this is done, they can enter a dimensional void at will that instantaneously transports them to the location of the seal

All of us knows how FTG works and what was needed to perform this technique. What we know is that they needed a jutsu shiki/FTG seal to teleport. If I have to ask everybody why jutsu shiki/FTG seal was created then I bet everybody will say

jutsu-shiki is needed to perform FTG

Not exactly. Saying jutsu-shiki is needed to perform FTG is like saying Minato and Tobirama can't teleport without it which we all know is not true
.

Minato and Tobirama can teleport without jutsu-shiki

Yes. Both Minato and Tobirama can use FTG without the use of jutsu-shiki. This was already proven
.

It only works on something that either I or my chakra are touching in some way------Minato

You must be registered for see images

Now we know that the real issue here about using FTG is not the seal but the chakra of the user. Obviously, without their chakra touching in some way, they can't teleport to their destination or teleport something but they can use FTG even without seals.

Why FTG seal was created

Why FTG seal was created when they can teleport without it? What was the real purpose behind it's creation? At this point, most of you perhaps are asking these questions. So, what's really the deal with this FTG seal?

Here's my take on this: Minato and Tobirama can teleport to wherever their chakra is touching but in real battle, how can they attach their chakra to their target? Remember that they can't teleport if they are not in contact or their chakra is not in contact with the target. Is using FTG this way really possible in actual battle? NO! So how can they teleport to their enemy if they can't attach their chakra?

They can still teleport to their target but it will take time. I believe that before seals were created, they know that they can use chakra transfer technique and mould the transferred chakra in order to adapt it to another person's specific chakra type. This was proven when Minato use his chakra to teleport the alliance and Tobirama using Minato as the link to teleport to a specific target.

Both Minato and Tobirama can use chakra transfer technique and mould it to adapt to another person's specific chakra type as shown below

You must be registered for see images

So how easy is this chakra transfer? Well, Naruto was able to transfer his chakra but he needed to be close to his target
.

You must be registered for see images

How effective is this chakra transfer in real battle? Not as effective as using FTG seal. Why? Simply because chakra transfer needs a little amount of time and perhaps some concentration
.

It's safe now to assume that the FTG seal was created so the caster can place his chakra on the target by just touching it. The chakra is SEALED and automatically adopts to a person chakra type without the need of chakra moulding or seal the users chakra if they are touching a thing. This is time consuming and can be practically use in real battle.

This chakra transfer thing is deadly when used with FTG. Why? Even a clone of Minato and Tobirama can use FTG and mark their opponent. If the opponent uses shadow clones then once they mark that clone they can potentially use chakra transfer technique to transfer their chakra to the other clones or to the original because the clones and the original are sharing the same chakra or once the clone disperses, chakra is being returned to the original thus the original is already marked.

FTG is too OP due to the use of chakra transfer technique..

people underrate FTG very easily...its the most overwhelming technique in manga..it can even move meteors and shinsusenju

Uhm no, i disagree with your idea that they don't need seal to teleport because they do, but you didn't understand what Minato meant by that sentence. Notice Naruto's question "can't you make Hiruzen jump with your jutsu?" What i mean by that? It's that he was asking if Minato could teleport Hiruzen. He wasn't asking if Minato could teleport TO Hiruzen. So what Minato meant by either i or his chakra must be connected for the teleportation was that the target needs to be connected with him smh(directly or indirectly with chakra) for him to teleport him elsewhere(where would be a seal). He can't teleport TO a target even if there is a chakra connection if he doesn't possess a seal on him or around him, but he can make the target teleport elsewhere

I also disagree with the chakra transfer argument. Tobirama doesn't know the chakra transfer technique. Only Minato and Naruto know this. How Tobirama managed to teleport those fodder had nothing to do with chakra transfer. That was chakra connection(eventhough he can't link as much people as Minato like he admitted himself). By connecting himself with Minato who was connected to Naruto, who himself was connected to the alliance, he had an indirect connection with the alliance allowing him to teleport them. The one who moulded and adapted the chakra for the alliance was Naruto alone. Tobirama and Minato were simply using the connected chakra via their connection with Naruto who was connected to the alliance

If we think deep then we can see how OP FTG is. If an enemy uses clones which shares the same chakra as the original then all the user has to do is mark that clone and it's game over. Chakra transfer will do the trick..

This is perhaps the reason why Kishi did not give Sage Mode to Minato and Tobirama. They will be too OP if they will use natures chakra. They'll be teleporting anywhere in the battlefield without the mark or attaching their chakra to the target.

In order to adapt to the alliance chakra would he not need to mould his chakra also? How did the alliance get Naruto and Minato's chakra at the same time? In order for the alliance to have Minato's chakra, Minato need to transfer that to the alliance using Naruto as a link. It is faster this way than Naruto giving his chakra to the alliance the first time. The purpose of the seal is just to SEAL. Seal what? Their chakra of course. The scan below shows that Minato did transfer his chakra to the alliance

It's not just Naruto's chakra----Hinata

With the Hiruzen example, there is no mark/seal or Minato's chakra in Hiruzen. He can't teleport to him or teleport Hiruzen to a safe place. It's true that he teleported the alliance to where his kunai is but the fact remains that he did teleported the alliance without marking them. FTG works the same way. If Minato was able to use his chakra alone to teleport someone then it also means that he will teleport them to where his chakra is connected. In the case with the alliance, they were all teleported to where Minato's kunai is. It's safe to say that Minato's kunai with the seal is infused with his chakra.

Using Minato as a link to transfer his chakra means he did transfer his chakra indirectly. Tobirama can't use Minato's chakra or vice versa. If this is the case then he don't have to touch Minato and use him because he can directly use Minato's chakra. Tobirama is also transferring his chakra to where his target is. Using Minato's as a link proves that FTG works when the chakra is connected to someone (directly/indirectly). The scan below shows Tobirama teleporting to a random shinobi connected with Minato's chakra after using Minato as a link

You must be registered for see images

If Tobirama was not transferring his chakra, does it mean that he can use Minato's chakra? Or if Minato was not transferring his chakra, does it mean that he was using Naruto's chakra to teleport them?

Another good example is this: naruto = tank of water supplying every household in a subdivision
shinobi alliance = household
Minato = wanting to poison everybody in the subd

How can Minato poison everyone the easiest and fastest way? Would he go to every household and put some poison in their water or he can just add that poison in the water tank that is supplying water to every household? By adding poison in the water tank, everyone from every household who uses the water from the water tank will be poisoned..In here, Minato uses the water tank as his link to poison everyone the fastest way
..:)

Good lord no.

The seal is necessary due to the formula within the seal; the formula allows Minato/Tobirama to enter a dimensional void at will to instantly teleport them to the location of the seal.

Needing a seal has been established well throughout the manga; Minato has stated it, Genma has stated it and so has Tobirama.

You can't teleport to somewhere without a seal, but you can teleport with someone if your chakra is linked to that person's, however, you still need that seal to teleport both you and that person.

Kindly explain how Tobirama was able to teleport infront of these fodders? Please don't tell me he marked both these guys

The seal is just used as a marker for his destination. That same seal has Minato's chakra that's why he can choose where to teleport. A seal is needed to seal a chakra in an object. Let's say Minato's clone is outside the barrier. Do you think that he can't teleport them to his clone? Remember even Minato's clone can summon the original.

Sorry, but I disagree with the no Jutsu Shiki thing.

Naruto asked ''Can you make a third jump too?''

Minato; ''Only if my Chãkra and his Chãkra or bodies touch (added sentence: to the marked point I have placed my Shiki''.

That means you need the Jutsu Shiki.

It's not just Minato's chakra that allows him to FTG anywhere, it's the formula. Like I said before, the formula allows Minato to enter a dimensional void at will. You're going off your own fanfiction to support your statement.

He didn't FTG in front of them, he made those fodder shinobi FTG behind him. Look at the page before that.

You're right about the requirement of markings/seals for teleportation [as said by Kakashi] but I think that AJPN is right as well. The basics of the Hiraishin no Jutsu or at least the one used by Minato and Tobirama lies with the chakra transfer. Why?

Well we know two things

1. Minato hasn't marked Naruto because we see here he was aiming for the marking on Obito which had disappeared because of his transformation so he has not marked Naruto U_U

You must be registered for see images

2. Minato was unable to teleport to Naruto via Hiraishin no Jutsu and when Tobirama asked he didn't say that I have no markings on Naruto or somthing like that, he said he didn't have enough chakra.

You must be registered for see images

So the question arises that how was Minato gonna teleport to Naruto w/out markings if he had enough chakra at that point?

For that I think AJPN has answered :)

In that 2nd scan too many implications can be made; it could mean Minato has now marked Naruto off panel, or Tobirama had thought Minato marked Naruto. If Minato had said 'I don't have a seal on him', it wouldn't explain why Minato did nothing to save his own son by either using a Rasengan to destroy the branches or by summoning Gamabunta for extra firepower. Minato saying 'I don't have any chakra left' shows that he couldn't have done anything to save his own son, which explains why only Tobirama tried saving him. I'm not sure how you guys are disagreeing with manga facts (needing a seal for Hiraishin) through baseless implications.

Minato/Tobirama teleport to FTG seals not because of the seals containing their respective chakra, but because of the formula allows them to enter a dimensional void at will. God, I feel like I'm repeating myself here.

nowhere in the manga states the the seal made them enter the dimensional void. The FTG itself made them enter the void. The seal is just part of the FTG. It has it's own purpose. The chakra is also part of it.

if the seal can make them enter the void, why there are two seals sharing the same function? following your logic, one must know Tobirama or Minato's seal to be able to perform FTG because FTG revolves on seals alone.

It makes sense they enter a dimensional void considering Obito's S/T revolves around a pocket dimension and the fact that when Minato used S/T Barrier, the

Because Kishi didn't want Kushina to have FTG? Damn, that's a bit of a silly question. It's like saying why can't all taijutsu users use the Strong Fist (Lee's and Gai's taijutsu style). Or why can't all Raiton users have a V2 armour. It's because Kishi didn't want that and thus, it never happened.

How does that follow my logic? They don't enter a dimension, but they enter a dimensional void. There's a difference.

It's not that Kishi wants kushina to learn FTG. If FTG revolves on seals alone then it makes no sense that an Uzumaki who taught Minato his sealing techs can't perform the same seal. Are you getting the point? It's very clear that FTG does not revolve on seals alone.

When Minato and Naruto mixed their chakra to transfer it to the alliance, it's pretty obvious that naruto has minato's chakra. when the god tree sucked up naruto's chakra, what did Minato tell Tobirama when he asked him if he can directly teleport to naruto? did he say that I can't because there is no mark? Minato said about their chakra being sucked.

As I told you, it's not the formula that made them enter the void. The formula is just part of FTG. FTG is not the formula. Saying that the formula made them enter the void and teleport means that FTG itself is the formula.
