I prefer it that way....i hated sakura bcoz of the way she treated naruto when they were kids....hinata is too shy...naruto has a mischievous side...hinata can't control that....ino can do that...and she is quite cool...even though she hated naruto when they were kids...she has improved greatly...

OT: With virtually no romantic contact, and hardly any conversational contact at that, it would feel more forced than what Kishi already trolls us with.

Pairing her with Ayame (Teuchi's daughter) would make more sense than Ino. I could understand if they intercepted, but they really don't do much of it.
