Itachi is still a villain

So my other thread stated why Itachi is still a villain. So while he was an edi he was put under Shisuis genjutsu. Any action or word that he did was dictated by Shisuis genjutsu. Again none of what he said or did was genuinely coming from him because he was being controlled by Shisuis genjutsu. That stuff about him being the leafs itachi uchiha was from the genjutsu. Him protecting the alliance was also from the genjutsu. Nothing that he did was from his heart. Kabuto was right when he said that Itachi was lying to Sasuke.


The only reason why he ddnt Sasukes eyes during his fight with Sasuke was because he was going to die either way. Eyes or no eyes.

My theory on why he set up shisuis eye on Naruto was not for just Sasuke but to fight Obito too. He was gonna put him on the leafs side just so that Sasuke wouldnt go to Obitos side.

I doubt this, how could Itachi be put in genjutsu past Shisui's death and then later after Itachi's death? He was revived acting within character of while he was alive so this doubtful.

Well at first he was sorta controlled by the edo tensei but obviously he then got controlled by Shisuis genjutsu

He was controlled through Should eye. Remember it came out of Naturist throat and got Itachi. He ddnt break out of the edo tensei perse but was placed on a stronger genjutsu

Itachi willingly and outright said that what ever Sasuke chooses, whether to destroy konoha or not, he doesn't care... he's obviously not under the genjutsu to "Protect Konoha" anymore, Shishui's genjutsu can be broken once you're made aware that you're in it

well he did report back and forth to the third hokage about the uchiha's plot..

the 3rd hokage , Sarutobi confirmed this when he was summoned nad Oro edo'd him to talk to Sasuke..

However I wonder if Oro could make the Edo say what he wants them to say <_<

Itachi did program Amateratsu in Sasuke's eye to kill Tobi... or at least separate Tobi from Sasuke.

Edo Itachi (b4 KA was cast) did help Naruto/Bee out by telling them how to avoid his jutsu
while Kabuto was making them fight.

Living Itachi helped a lot... while he was in akatsuki..

He saved Jiraiya, Naruto, Sasuke, Kisame. Kakashi, Kurenai, Asuma, Guy's lives all in one arc.. ^/_\^

- NONE of those Names Knew about AMATERATSU at all... Kisame might have known about it , but that's all.
Itachi could have burned them all to death.. If Itachi didn't hold Kisame back , he could've killed Asuma & Kurenai.
Itachi could have teamed up with Kisame to kill Guy... Amateratsu kills all of these Leaf Ninja.

- Jiraiya could have been killed by Amateratsu and so could Naruto and Sasuke have burned to death.
but Itachi told Kisame to run away with him while he (itachi) only amateratsu'd the toad stomach instead.
Kisame didn't know what was going on with that toad stomach and would have probably died there wasn't for Itachi.

summary: Itachi did lots of good things without KA

You're missing the obvious fact that his whole intention in the first place was to protect konoha by doing this.

He saved the leaf from the Uchiha revolt and saved the world from the world war that would have followed. He tried to make sure Tobi died by programming the amaterasu attack into Sasuke. Before KA was placed on him, he was still talking to Naruto about protecting the leaf. In short, it was established he wasn't a villain long before KA was placed on him.

No he avoided a fight between himself and Jiraiya because he said that both would die if they faced each other. He was saving his own ass to live another day

I don't think it can be broken that easily... I think KA could make u think whatever the caster wants u to think while ur under KA controlled genjutsu.. ur thoughts would be the thoughts KA makes u have..

AFTER KA is released ( if someone explains what happened to you ) then u will be back to ur senses.
