Well this was exciting, thought for a second their be a two chapters of death in a row.

I hope Yajima san isn't killed I like his character. Though its weird he was supposedly all up in there with the big ones and seems weak...all council people seem weak. Makarov for example isn't. He has his old age and all but he's shown enormous skill and raw magic power that rivals only a few. Its weird that yajima seems weak.

Then again, all of Laxus cheer squat got easily beaten. So the guy must be that much more powerful. Laxus has never in the plot of FT been clearly bested except against the protagonist, Natsu. Either this will prove the rule or break it. Curious to see what happens.

Just a little correct makarov is not a council member he was a member the 12 wizard saints not a council member. Yajima was the council member in the start of fairy tail.

i think only the wizard saints hold the real power not the council members i say that cause jellal was one and he has been the only former council member to truly show strength. well ultear was an exception but a hidden one.
yajima is too old to be super strong now. and makarov is getting to that point as well as told by yajima himself.
its hard to gauge the council properly with the info we have we'll never know now.

10 Wizard Saints, not 12 and Scorps was using Makarov as an example to show that even old men can be extremely powerful. He wasn't saying that Makarov was a council member, just that that all the old coots of the council got owned quite easily while old men don't necessarily need to be frail, old people.

Shit was intense as Yajima is cool!! Glad Laxus saved him. It would be interesting to see how things will go with Jellal possibly being a target. Would be kinda cute to see Erza go off and try to find him.... Just sayin' <(-.-<).

Laxus making the usual badass entry. Though idk how Ever managed to mistake Tempesta for Laxus since they wore nothing alike.
