And we now know for a fact (4th told naruto when naruto went 8tails against pain) that tobi was controlling the fox 16 years ago.

So...Yondaime Hokage sealed half the foxes chakra into naruto, half into the death god.

My point is maybe tobi lost his moon eye (left eye) because when yondaime sealed the kyuubi, it also sealed tobis sharingan which was controlling kyuubi.

We all know that jutsus and seals are all interlinked chakra systems etc.

In theory if the fox was being controlled, it was being controlled by tobi/madaras chakra, and as the fox was sealed, logically this means the chakra of tobi/madara was sealed too.


Maybe the moon eye plan is simply to get his left eyes power back somehow.

As far as we know, the first Rinnegan user was the Sage of the Sage of the Six Paths, he sealed back in his time something in the Eye of the Moon (something extremely powerful) which Madara want's his hands on... And if you're story is right, we may maybe never know any secrets about the Sage of the Six Paths, if I could remember: Madara said something about the Rinnegan and something about the Eye of the Moon.. Whichever are maybe relative.

Anyway, this is just a prediction.

I have to agree, I think it has more to do with the renningan or a combination of all the Do jitsu's to form a special something. I also wonder if Danouz is the big baddy and not actually madara or tobi.

Its more and more coming to me that I think Danzou knows more about Madara and his existence than what he preseve to do, I think that Danzou have manipulated Minato's mind and framed Madara for the attacks that took place 16years ago, That will clear Tobi/madara from what he said to sasuke, that he was not the cause of the Kyuubi attack. I also think thats the main reason that Itachi resided with Madara, in order to work together with him in order to get rid of an even bigger threat : Danzou. Think about it. Danzou have all the toys, he have a sharingan, and I wager that its a MS aswell. He only wants Sasuke dead inorder to get Sasuke's other eyes to get the EMS. He already have the kyuubi right where he want him (or so he thinks), in Konoha.

So I think there is a very interesting thing thats going to be pulled at the end of the manga. ; )

It just seems a bit simple if all he wants is his left eye or 'true power' to control the fox. It would mean for a third time he wants the power of Kyuubi to attack Konoha or something similar to that scheme. It has to be on a grander scale since this involves all the tailed beasts and apparently the 'moon. Maybe he needs a tremendous power supply of chakra from all the beasts to channel and support his sharigan ability into the moon, which is housing Rikudou Sennin, allowing him to execute sharigan techniques on countries and thousands of individuals at a time without having to worry about exhaustion. It's based on someone's theory. Basically it is just
-nagato trapped naruto(nine-tails) in rikodu sennin which was that giant rock thing.
-he said the sage of six paths made the moon.
-they assumed that the sage of six paths must have trapped something big in the moon.

It's not a detailed theory where he tries to reveal the whole secret behind the moon eye scheme, but rather giving us a way to make sense of the loose ends we have from Kishi.

And from what I've read I think the conclusion to the moon eye plan is somehow to going to revolve around what Twistedlink just told us... Will be interesting to see how and where MK fits Naruto into all of this.

Okay my theory in cliff-note style would be

1.Tobi attacked 16 years ago using his sharingan to control the fox
2.Controlling the fox means tobi is injecting chakra into fox for genjutsu through his sharingan.
3.The 4th sealed the Kyuubis chakra (which also contained tobis genjutsu chakra from his sharingan eye.
4.I believe this means that tobis left eye may be sealed
5.I also believe the moon eye plan is to get his eye back.


Someone mentioned how gathering the tailed beasts must be something greater than getting his eye back, otherwise why not just go for 9tails?

well we know that now the 9tails is inside naruto the only way to get it back is gedo mazo.

We also know gedo mazo needs all 8tails to balance the 9tails power.


Tobis entire plan could simply be to get his sharingan back to then allow him to do something far worse.

Afterall whats the point in getting the tailed beasts if nobody can control them??

Pain said they would use the tailed beasts in wars but nobody in akatsuki can control bijuu apart from tobi, and he can only control the fox it seems.


I just dont think akatsuki or tobi plan to use the beasts because none have shown the potential to control them.
