Ive actually figured out why tobi wears a mask with one eye showing!

Well, i was thinking, and it hit me.

1.Tobi is Madara.
2.Madara is "dead"
3.People/Ninja would freak out if they saw someone who died hundred years ago, or he'd be attacked etc.
4.Madara still needs to see where hes going but doesn't want to show too much of his face
5.He only needs 1 eye to see where he's going

I really honestly do think its that simple.

Tobi says hes madara before his encounter with sasuke

Itachi also states tobi is madara

Jiraiya, kakashi, danzou etc all think its madara.

The name madara keeps coming up, so he's somebody, and right now id say tobi=madara is an extremely good bet.

I just think he wears a mask simply to hide the fact that he is Madara, and he doesn't want people to know, and at the same time, needs to see where he's going.

If you would read the current manga chapters you would see that it has been proven that danzo is not tobi. The only reason he has a sharingan(sp?) eye is because he transplanted it from Uchiha Shisui(sorry if I spelled the name wrong) along with Shisui's right arm. So, no Danzo is not Tobi or Madara.

That would be extremely plausible if you just go by what'd be in his best interest.

But if you factor in that it's a manga, and that if that would be the case, there'd be no reason to hide his face from us the readers, then its a different story. If what you say was true, then we would've seen his full face when Sasuke used Amaterasu on him and he dropped his mask.

Though, as it is, Kishi is still keeping his face a secret from us the readers, meaning there is still a surprise in store.^^

I also think that this is too simple and be too much of a let-down if thats all it was.

In my opinion its going to be something pretty big. I can only guess as to what...but it'll likely be something not easily seen coming. (hopefully anyway lol)

Well no, look at what has become of Kishi hiding tobis face!!!

All forums are discussing it etc.

Kakashi hides his mouth and everyone wants to know.

He knows when he hides parts of his characters people start making theories.

However i honestly do believe tobi simply wants to remain hidden to most ninjas as his name being brought upon the table would cause problems.

Best way to remain hidden is to put a mask on, and to make a hole in it so he can see where he's going lol.
