Itachi would have killed Kabuto

Guy guys aren't making sense.. The fact that he stated "I dont want to kill him clearly means Itachi was not going for a killing blow." He only cut him there to start Izanami

Doesn't matter Kabuto is still faster, he was able to dodge Sasuke's arrow, and overwhelm Itachi by his speed when he ripped Itachi into two, stab him across the chest. Additionally he would've dodged Itachi's attack at close range with crows blocking his eyesight if it weren't for him forgetting he had horns.

After looking at the fight and re-reading the manga... Kabuto would have been killed by Itachi when Itachi cut off his neck. People have to remember that Kabuto is not immortal like ORochimaru and Kabuto must liquify his body in order for him to be healed.

Reason: Kabuto getting his horn cut off is key example to this considering Itachi was able to cut it off entirely and it did not grow back. This implies that the only way he can heal is if he liquify his body BEFORE he is attacked. Thus if Itachi cut his neck or chopped hish ead off BEFORE he could liquify then that means Kabuto would die.

Same can be said for Suigetsu who always liquefy his body before receiving major damage.

Kabuto is sooooo lucky.

I think it was not luck rather the edo tensei issue. Since the edo tensei will not be released if kabuto died. Really if itachi wanted to kill him he could with no problem what so ever

FYI he got stabbed on purpose to activate Izanami and took advantage of being an edo. Please don't argue this because that would mean you think Lee beat Madara....

So why didnt he use it then? Let me guess because he didnt want to kill Kabuto right? Well guess what? He didnt want to kill Sasuke either but that didnt stop him from using amaterasu on Sasuke now did it?

Kabuto would have killed Itachi if he didn't go for Sasuke first. Itachi made a prediction based on Kabuto's personality, and if Kabuto went against it, GG Itachi from the very beginning

izanami doesnt seem to require physical contact by the explanation however itachi seemed to use the physical contact anyway. meaning as long as kabuto keeps his distance he wins
