What if Infinite Tsukiyomi plan succeed and then everyone realizes chakra is just an invention of the Sage of Six Path, who for once put every existent person inside an illusion with the help of the forbidden fruit, something like the Matrix?

What if unconsciously Obito is a hero in the war?

I would be mindblown, that's for sure.

PS: This idea came from Itachi's sentences, where he states that someone's reality could be an illusion for other people, just like the idea of Madara being Itachi's mentor.

That would be pretty interesting. Since the revealing of Obito, there hasn't been much anticipation for a huge 'twist'. I still think Kishi has something up his sleeve concerning the 'master plan'. It never sat well with me how Obito revealed it all.

are you saying you think they could have been in a genjutsu this whole time already? or that its already activiated? i have speculated that its already been activated or that it will be activated and team 7 with maybe others will have to break everyone outta it.

I do think Obito has revealed/talked about it too much, i don't think he will get it to work...but i do think Madara's plan is to activated in the way he wants the world to be. It might not be a bad thing, but its not how reality was supposed to originally play out.

If they don't accept the Infinite Tsukuyomi, this loop will continue.

OP: Obito can't be the hero, it would make the title of the Manga completely irrelevant. Other part of your post is interesting, my only question would be when the ninja world wakes up where would they currently be? When does the illusion stop and reality actually begin?

I got something "crazy" related to your mention of Itachi's concept of reality: what if he did not really massacre the uchiha clan. What if the massacre was all an illusion? I have no proof, nor could I speculate where the Uchiha are (were this true), but Itachi's way of speaking to Sasuke about "truth" makes me wonder about the reality of the massacre.

In this chapter 576, manga page 7, Itachi does not finish his sentence when he says, "If your truth is just an illusion, then the truth about me in reality is..."
