Why do people say that Kabuto's flashbacks were boring/pointless ?

Personally , I enjoyed them . It gave Kabuto more development . Orochimaru being there made it more intersting . His past was pretty sad yet nice , and Kishimoto did a good job telling us his works as a spy , then joining Orochimaru . But my problem is that , people keep saying that some Naruto characters have not enough development . In this case Kabuto . We particularly did not know anything about him , only him being a spy and being a ally with Orochimaru . But then , Kishimoto gave him a 3 chapter flashback to give him more development , and yet people say that they were pointless .

Because 3 chapters is to much. I want to see people killing eachother, fat kids being kunai'd and haxed jutsu. Not kid Kabuto.

No . 3 chapters are too few . And is incredibile how Kishimoto gave him a good development in 3 chapter flashback .

that's just what everybody says when there's flashbacks
Sadly...

Flashback really wasn't needed at that moment and at that long as well. It's fine to have flashbacks and development for a character, but if it was really needed and vital it would've been progressed as time goes and we can learn to like the character. If we just get a sudden origin story with really no point at one single time it feels like a shoe-in for a character in itself. I can't appreciate a character in one flashback spreading longer than a fight...

Short attention span, I guess. Kishimoto doesn't write by chapters; he writes by Volumes. Each volume is organized to illustrate or develop specific characters, groups, places, etc. Since we are getting a weekly release, its now apparent that the anticipation and wait is getting shorter.

Kishimoto loves to give a flashback to a character while he is in a middle of a battle .

I think Kishimoto was not planning to make Kabuto a main villain , that's why he didn't give him flashbacks in another time . My opinion only.

Well , that;s another case . That depends on your preference .

actually it kinda was needed as it gave kabutos character some closure before he got took down and it better explained his character also the fight was manly about kabuto so were better have a kabuto flashback?
