[Predictions] Minato,thunder god,toads,naruto,sage mountain

Ok right so I was having a debate with someone about this and well it makes a lot of sense!Right, in the manga where naruto fights pein he uses reverse summoning (learnt from the toads) In the fight between Minato & tobi/madara 9 tails we see him wearing a sage cloak (somewhat like the one naruto wears) We also see minato's name on the toad contract when naruto has signed it, thus meaning at some point minato was a toad sage/linked to the toads,making alot of sense being that his sensei was one. Thus this leads to me thinking that whilst being a toad sage and being the genious that he was,during training at the toad mountain I believe that minato utilized the reverse summoning taught to him by the toads to create the thunder god technique(just like naruto kept his technique that he created a secret from the toads ). I believe there is alot of evidence pointing toward this also making it possible that naruto could have 2 possible teachers,kakashi as stated in my other thread (being minato's student,also having the kunai given to him as a present,plus being the copy ninja) and the toads whom are still alive and may possibly help him unravel the technique anyways peace out!

Yup.. I had been thinking abt this for a while.. Minato must have been a Sage user himself... since he also summoned boss Gamabunta against his fight with 9-tails.. also pa n ma frog were looking at the images of minato and jiraiya and comparing them to naruto during his fight with pain.. then boss gama said "gramps do u see old familiar forms" "naruto has surpassed his predecessors".. all this evidence confirms tht Minato must have been a Sage user as well..

well just because his name is on the toad scroll doesn't mean he was a sage.. naruto had his name on the scroll long ago, but he wasn't a sage til recently until he was given the opportunity.. i mean of course there also isn't really any proof that he wasn't one either.. so it could be either way.. but i see what you mean here about the reverse summoning.. its an interesting theory.. it may be the key..

That's exactly true, and with that missing link, the theory has a hole. Also, someone created a thread on this very issue a while back, with someone replying that there isn't proof for Minato being a sage. I don't think Minato needed to be a sage or was one.

However, recall the massive toad scroll seal for Naruto's Kyuubi seal. I don't know if it was originally on a toad or Jiraiya put it in one, but if Minato did, it indicates that he had a relationship with the toads that involved storing seals on them. He uses seals for the flicker jutsu, so hmmm. A possibility then.

All that contract means is he can summon toads, and they can summon him.

Good work anyway since I'm sure it was done independently of each other. Thus two separate minds converged on the same idea just like "The Calculus"
