5/5, it's nice to see Naruto has Shikamaru there for him.
Tobirama seemed really touched by Shikamaru's wish to be there for Naruto like he was for Hashirama.

5/5 great chapter and can't wait for next one. Getting to see Kakashi was the best part because it feels like its been years since we seen him last.
so all the people calling this chapter is crap and it was boring, i hope you know not all chapters are gonna be full force action if that was the case it would of ended years ago. to make a story great you must put chapters like these to keep the pace and allow for characters to develop, so just keep hatin and next week might be the same or the beginning of more action lets wait and see

Apart from shika awaken (obvious) and kakashi survival ( shocker). It was like last weeks chapter about naruto's/hashirama feelings. Show me a freaking uchiha they're always entertaining
Obito's look after sasuke n naruto attacked him .......oooooooooooooooo boy, I wished Kishi expanded on that

after reading many of these comments, i am pretty disappointed
go and read the first few chapters of this Manga, then read this one again
Tell me this chapter did not blow you away, [maybe it needs to be animated and voiced for some to understand]
Naruto isn't just a kid anymore voicing his ambitions to be acknowledged as Hokage, he has reached beyond the stages of the Pein arc where the village wishes him well and cares for him
HE IS UNITING THE SHINOBI WORLD, PAST + PRESENT
i believe this was a monumental chapter, [not because of power ups, or secret lineages or storyline twists]
But rather this was a great chapter as Naruto has not only begun to unite the world in action, but they Truly begin to understand him and all are resonating with his feelings
Jiraya's dream of peace that Naruto inherited literally has just come to fruition, if only he can defeat Obito and Madara is taken down
This now set's the pace
Picture the story as a 10,000m in the olympic final, we have just begun the last Lap...

It wasn't that great of a chapter, but there was for sure some important moments in it.
1. Kakashi is alive and coming back soon!
2. Shikamaru is saved and will become Naruto's advisor.
3. Just about everyone got panel time.
4. Naruto and Sasuke are going to be fighting Obito next chapter, and finally something happens according to the hint for next chapter! =D
I give it a 3/5.

everyone now has a Naruto-centric worldview. I know he's the protagonist but have motivation other than Naruto. there's a world of people out there that aren't Naruto out
Shikamaru; my 2nd favorite character but it focused too much on him when he's no longer plot relevant as he doesn't have sage jutsu,
who are those three advisers? If Shikamaru is thinking about his team, then no.
the vast majority of the Kage development was pointless, pick up the pace, it's too late for development of supporting characters
A: I was expecting some kind of reaction to seeing the man who tried to kill his brother
inspiring fodders is pointless; they can do one thing; die. inspiring them will not advance the plot. they do nothing
zero plot progression

Kiba; You are unintelligent. You will never be Hokage. you can't become Hokage just to be Hokage, it must be about improving the system. Naruto and Sasuke both have that. you don't. you are a minor supporting character as well. thus, you will not be hokage

i would assume that Kakashi will come back and finish off the tree by sending it to the other dimension or something or at least part of it to finish cutting it down. not a bad chapter. too much "lets all fluff naruto's nuts" though.

The only thing that saved the day was Kakashi's panel. Those flashbacks about Naruto's will and feelings are so old...
It's like the same chapter is being repeated with only adding 1-2 good panels...God Kishi, make it interesting at last.

Seriously, people complain on these forums AS IF Kishimoto was actually reading these forums.
No matter how much everyone complains and moans, Kishimoto probably will never ever see these complaints and probably never ever try fix what apparently everyone on Narutobase wants....Unless these complainers actually do something constructive like writing to Kishimoto and explaining their apparent woes.
