Everyone gets down on them for losing to Madara. Yeah sure they were supposed to be the ultimate team and what not. However it was Madara Uchiha. Plus plot.

I can't think of anyone else who was in the war at the time they fought him who could have won. If you guys say he wasn't trying with them, it further reinforces the fact noone else could have done it because then he would just try for a change no?

Calling them fodders for losing basically makes everyone fodder because none of them could have won. Just saying.

They are just as helpful as anyone on the field right now could be in assisting against Obito and Madara. All of them besides naruto sasuke are basically doing nothing so whats 5 more people?

I was just talking to some idiot about Madara not being badass enough. He said Madara defeating the Gokage was as badass as it gets. I said that isn't a big enough deal since they were fighting in a war and they are actually alive so they can die and tire meanwhile Madara is an Edo with unlimited chakra and he is already dead. I think he was just watching that episode and it means a lot to him.

Madara doesn't need plot to eradicate them. If anything, the kages need plot to survive.

2. Strong on their own

3. Can only get stronger with Kyubi cloaks (though I'm not a fan).

Their abilities will be a great help against the Juubi or helping Hashirama.

Aww come on. Don't tell me you're serious. The kages could barely smash through a regular susano ribcage, the on earth would they be a match for Perfect Susano. Also, Rinnegan and meteorite summons arre just an overkill. Not to mention Madara hasn't shown his other 2 EMS doujutsu, which could be pretty OP'd.

First Tsunade looks inept, useless against Pain during the invasion and allows the village to get demolished. And low & behold, Sage Mode Naruto surpasses her then & there and does her job in stopping Pain

Sasuke takes on four of the kages at once and survives with an incomplete Susano'o and almost did A in with Amaterasu if not for Gaara coming in and stopping A from sustaining further damage from and being consumed by Amaterasu...one can only think that now that Sasuke now has EMS and a complete Susano'o he takes them out now

Then to be made to look like fodder compared to Madara

I recognize that they're the best in their respective village, with the exception of Tsunade being surpassed by both Sasuke & Naruto, but they're below Sasuke, Naruto and all the previous 4 Hokages who seem to have been able to handle Madara and contain him & Obito prior to Obito becoming jinchuriki

They're no longer relevent, and I weep for the previous hokages thinking they left the world in better hands when their successor didn't turn out to be greater, let alone not equal to, any of the predecessors

At least you see that, btw Madara has not really been going at it since the hokage arrived so it's not like they did much in terms of containing him. I still hold the 4th Raikaga A as being the standard to compare and test one's taijutsu capabilities and prowess; if you can take on A and survive you've arrived

I have to disagree. He doesn't have to be good, hes fast. He wouldn't have to test anyones taijutsu that is significantly slower than him. He can just blitz em. The only thing to test him with is your reaction time and speed IMO.
