I dont remember when they technically killed Madara.. can you show me scans? If you're referring to the scan where Tsunade punches through him that was a clone I think.

It wasn't a clone. Madara replaced himself with a mokuton clone AFTER getting "killed" by Tsunade. So yeah, he died once during that fight.

Really? I'll have to look at that scan again.. if he did then I think he let himself "die" so he can fool them and surprise attack Tsunade.. either that or he wanted to show off that technique.
