Before the several points, yamato ALSO said that Naruto shouldn't be able to move around and stuff at all. Yet, 4 tail, 6 tail, and 8 tail moved around just fine.
1 Absolutely correct. Latest manga 458 says it is hard to adopt to bijjuu, and kyuubi happens to be strongest one...And when naruto became smart enough to understand complicated things like seal...
2-1st ability was named as mokuton which is Japanese word for wood. His kekkei genkai of controling bijjuus was not wood but something else which unnamed. He just used wood as tool...
3-Nice joke...It is said by madara that 1st was not able to control all bijjuus. He said he can control several bijjus. Several means more than one but not all 9. Haku at the time didnt even no what he is facing...I am not saying naruto will be able to control all bijjuus. That will be lame. But he can control at least Kyuubi...
4-accepted. but you can not deny that manga has given several hints regarding some relation between naruto and 1st...Like being able to handle Necklace that killed others...
5-Right. but that time Shodai had other bijjuus(possibly remaining 7-8) and madara had kyuubi. Now situation is slightly reversed. Naruto has kyuubi and counter party will have other 8 bijjuus...
6-There basically was no need for tsunade to offer necklace which kill all others wearing it. Yes necklace is broken and can not be fixed...So wats your point...

1. Actually, it dumbed down to active use of kyuubi power would hurt friends ( especially sakura ) and now he has no more training wheels to fall back on ( for the time being ).
2. Till said naming ( if there is ), we gotta chalk it up to mokuton.
3. Ever think that not all bijuu are present at the same time. That perhaps some like to hide like the 9 tails and ( if go by filler ) 3 tails. He may not have been seen with all at once at any given time.
4. It also seems to give several hints about a bunch of other stuff, too ( including things that turn out to not be true ). What it also shows is superstition. Cause you know how humanity LOVES to blame things on others ( besides themselves ). A few deaths with a common denominator and all of a sudden it is cursed if no proper investigation is done.
5. Shodai also had the inherent ability to control kyuubi which would combat with sharingan control. Unlike shodai, Naruto doesn't have that luxury. Now control of the kyuubi has to contend with mixed chakra and the kyuubi seal.
6. At the time, she was wanting to prove Naruto wrong. Also, theory seems to assume necklace is still around as no mention of it's destruction.
7. Theory seems to state otherwise.
8. There isn't a definate as to whether or not the other party will make use of the remaining 8 or not. Since pein perished and making use of the statue just became a lot more complicated.
