Best Gateway Anime?

What are the best gateway anime, or anime to get non-anime watchers into anime? Personally, I'd say Death Note. I've had like 5 friends watch it and love it. Another good one would be FMA:B. I haven't seen it, but I know one of my anime-hating friend likes it and I know it's got what it takes to be a good gateway anime. I could see Full Metal Panic!, Code Geass, Ao no Exorcist, and Darker Than Black being great gateway anime.
