The Hawk summon was pretty random though. Even Tobi said something like, "When did he get that?" I know it went well with the Taka thing but seriously, why didn't we learn anything more about that hawk? Will we ever see it again?

Probably the uchiha clan have assist to bird summon since itachi can use Crow summon.It was not an asspull since Kishimoto have shown us that Kid Sasuke have a hawk summon with his cover page in the past

I'm not saying it was an asspull, I actually refrain from calling anything that, or from blaming plot, with a very few exceptions. I used to be a Deidara fan but I never, ever thought Sasuke's victory over him was "plot", for example.

Just that Kishi decided to write it that way. I actually have a pretty neutral stance on most things that happen. They all fit within Kishi logic, story logic, like, for example, Naruto is good with TnJ, this is how Kishi decided it to be. So it's consistent within the universe. I also don't think Nagato was supposed to be absolutely heartless.

Plot no Jutsu is more like when very unlikely coincidences happen just because it's convenient for story progression, for example.

I seriously think people should stop with that "borrowed power" thing. Allies are a resource, too. You need to work to get them. So what if you need someone else to do something, you can't really go far when you're completely on your own. There's nothing wrong with collaboration between people. Yeah it wouldn't count towards Sasuke's powers in 1v1, but it's perfectly fine withing the story.

Notice how when Sasuke does something new its usually an 'asspull' to the majority of this site(since a lot and i mean a lot of members dislike Sasuke and Sakura).

No matter what Sasuke does everyone is quick to say 'Its Jugo's power' or 'He has Naruto's cloak' just to bring him down.Kind of sad actually.

He was losing and the plot demanded that he wins thus kishi gives him a powerup. It's ok kishi does the same for naruto but instead of power ups its chakra. That's that main character plot protection.

You act like Sasuke is the only one subject to this. what happens when Naruto does the same thing? He is met with the same ideology: "Naruto was only able to do "X" because of Kyuubi's Chakra."

It isn't just sasuke and Sakura, but All of Team 7 and this includes my man Kakashi. Even he has been subject to this ridicule.

Everyone is biased to their favorite character. But that doesn't mean they are infallible and can do everything on their own. Kishi has demonstrated this throughout the series. Keep in mind we are talking about kids here. For all their power they are still learning and growing. People expect too much of them and think they should be able to win every single fight they get into on their own.

That is so very unrealistic. No one and I mean NO ONE achieves victory without help from friends and comrades. That's what this manga is all about.

Even though 2/3 of the fights you mentioned he didn't even win. He lost to Haku, and the Kages at the Summit.

He doesn't just give Naruto more chakra, his new abilities Kishi gives him are power-ups. Kyuubi and Bijuu mode are prime examples.
