Kishi confirmed in an interview a long time ago that the manga will not end after the war. He plans on adding another few arcs after the war to prolong the story, so the manga wont end for another 2-3 years.

500 chapters? Thats like 6-10 years of writing. The only manga of the big three with 500 or more chapters to go is One Piece. Bleach is ending sometime this year or early next year.

It was said Naruto would end around 2014-15. So maybe this arc will end within the next 2-3 months and a new short arc for Naruto vs Sasuke maybe a timeskip epilogue after that.

He's been wrapping things up and tying together plot holes. I think at best there might be a short arc around Naruto and Sasuke and a post time skip after that. I don't see him stretching it out that far. Now the anime I could see them pulling a DBGT because it still makes sense to make money off it.
