After the recent chapter revealing Madara's "true" motive, I have a feeling he might be able to persuade Sasuke to join his side somehow or at least that Sasuke will eventually turn against the alliance.

They both have very similar goals, the only difference is that Madara's goal is achieved through an illusion which Sasuke disagrees with.

However, Madara says to Hashirama that chakra made the battles and wars of the world more devastating, which means that their can never be peace as long as this power remains in the hands of shinobi; calling shinobi the symbol of foolishness at the same time.

Sasuke has witnessed that foolishness first hand, with his family and clan being murdered by the shinobi system. He says he wishes to become Hokage, but what his goal as "Hokage" is still unknown. He did say that he wanted to put an end to the shinobi system and create one anew.....

It sounds very similar to what Madara wants, the only difference is that Sasuke said he didn't want to use genjutsu because that would render all sacrifices in vain which helped create something real and not an illusion.

Sasuke has shown to not really care for the shinobi either.......when Obito was about to annihilate the alliance, Sasuke planned to run away and only take Juugo and Naruto with him, disregarding everyone else entrapped.

Madara may give Sasuke an idea by trying to persuade him and create another Obito scenario or Sasuke will join him for real.

I feel as though when the opportunity presents itself, most likely after the defeat of Madara and Obito, Sasuke will try to do something else to end the shinobi system or take away chakra, which will turn the alliance and most importantly Naruto against him, paving way to the "final battle" between Sasuke and Naruto.

You're right! i thought about this theory too. Also, i think that another reason for Sasuke to join Madara's side is the fact that he is starting to feel frustrated about Naruto's new powers, and that will make him want to go for other power-ups in order to keep the balance with Naruto, and thus fight him equally.

Although, here's a picture that would infirm this theory, where Sasuke is calling Madara a zombie that should be sealed so that the war could be over...

I don't get your point...:dunno:

point is in the title.....Sasuke will turn against the alliance, most likely by Madara's persuasion since their goals are similar.......not that Madara cares about him.

The shinobi alliaince is currently an burden to naruto, sasuke and the edo hokage, they just useless.Sasuke is right for trying to save naruto and Jugo because they both have senjutsu, which his necessary to defeat jubito. If sasuke risk saving the shinobi alliance ,it will go to vein because juubito have unlimited chakra and godly skill that can kill the shinobi alliaince with ease.Basically ,saving the shiniobi alliance is a waste of chakra

He's easy to manipulate sure, but I think he does have the slightest bit of dignity on his word.
Madara has already shown not to give two shits about Sasuke; he hasn't even acknowledged him in the slightest since he arrived.

Then what was the point of the redemption arc? Sasuke not redeemed yet, and he is still a dark character but he's on the path to redemption after doubting revenge, giving up revenge, becoming willing to save comrades and becoming less dark according to Naruto.
he has little reason to turn to Madara. their goals are different Sasuke fights for the future whereas Madara has given up and wants to live in a dream.
Yes, Sasuke fells envy towards Naruto but how does that mean he'll turn to Madara? Sasuke just got a Sussano with legs. it's therefore reasonable to assume he can get more power-ups to the Sussano by himself. I also doubt Madara would be patient enough to give Sasuke a power-up now that the war is at its climax. He has to use this trump card now, not give out power-ups.
while Naruto vs. Sasuke will happen, it will probably happen after the war arc.

Its about time you people accepted reality Sasuke already stated his opinion of Madara's plan so its pretty safe to say that he is against it. I mean think about it the SA is on its last leg. What would he gain from staying with the alliance this long. Face it Saeuke is a good guy and has been getting g better every chapter. He has been saving Naruto, prioritizing Naruto's safety over his own, and even overcoming his own jealousy and inspiring Naruto to not give in. This is Sasuke's future EMBRACE IT!

Sure Sasuke in the end might be a good guy, but that doesn't mean he won't become a bad guy again. When people refuse to acknowledge Sasuke as hokage and accept Naruto instead, what exactly do you think would happen?

Nothings for certain until the manga ends, hence it being a theory. And being evil in Naruto isn't black and white, it's very gray. Sasuke's goals would be rejected by the alliance, which would bring about quarrel.

Sakura has already seen through him. Same for Sai, Shikamaru.

Rikudou taught the basis of chakra, to spread peace. The shinobi were made to make peace.
