Nice things about fillers and not reading mangas.

to be honest... if u don't read the manga and just watch the anime straight up, its actually nice. Before, i didn't even know there is a manga. all i did was just watching anime alone and i liked it. and yes i did think some episodes are stupid but if u don't watch the cool episodes in the manga, u will feel the anime episodes are even cooler. some fillers aren't just pointless, sometimes they contain some interesting things we didn't know before. sometimes You can learn more about the characters in fillers. Naruto cant just be all cool fighting and shit. I've seen some people who just watched a episodes that mostly contains flashbacks and just started commenting stupid stuffs of it because its "boring" = =
i, myself prefer some interesting facts or a side story for the filler instead of some really fake ass fighting. that just pisses me off but at least i don't comment things like " omg this episode is a garbage."

Nah man Naruto fillers are complete garbage , i started reading the manga after the Pain arc & the only fillers that didn't sucked was the Guren filler , that was awesome .

Some people want the world of Naruto filled in with more Lore. That's where filler comes in. Filler is what gave us dozens of awesome clans, geographical locations, side missions that go along with the "goings on" of the world around plot, what happens behind the scenes, and solves answers like "yes, someone born with lots of chakra control can indeed pick up basic healing ninjutsu on the spot".

Of course, we can't take filler as factual information, but anybody not worried about that would find filler episodes delightful.

Yeah, but fillers aren't facts. I think it's disappointing to watch fillers, because if it was good, you're left thinking: "If only that actually happened."

It's like the anime team puts you under a pleasing genjutsu, then when you're out, you're disappointed it wasn't real.

fillers doesnt have to be related to the future anime episodes, if it was showing the past of something and doesnt affect what situation they are in right now, it is good. because at least it is something u can learn about.

Well filler in shippuden has sucked pretty bad. They made a damn filler about a food fight but couldn't show the 7 swordsman fight in more detail or some of the other major war events

some fillers actually affected the future episodes of naruto. fillers like when kakashi defeated most of the 7 swordsman. but wat sucks about it is the fighting part. it they make it better i might just think its not a filler.

i said i prefer any filler that i think its interesting. and this is why i look at the preview first.

I agree the anime is most times better than the manga, and like you said there is usually more character development or sometimes things even tie in coincidently w/ what happening in the manga..
I also don't mind some fillers occasionally, but when they go months with fillers it really pisses me off, another annoying filler is the flashbacks, again, some are cool to remember, sometimes they just repeat repeat repeat
