The Tsuki no Me plan is no more of a lie than the current physical world is. At least you know what you're up against.

Look at all those people who were valiantly fighting to save the 'real world'...most of them died, and very painfully I might add.

Only the 'main' characters who are supposedly so incorruptible and morally upright have managed to draw the longer sticks...

It's not a lie? In real life, you meet with real people, form relationships with real people, and love real people. In a 'dream world', the only 'people' you'd be meeting are induced illusions derived from your subconscious. That's a pretty massive difference.

A dream is a lot more pleasant. If you know it's a dream, you can do ANYTHING.

Problem is, everyone is assuming that they'll have control of their own situation in the dream world. From what we've been told in the manga, Mugen Tsukiyomi creates a mental world within the mind of the caster, and then draws everyone else in. The caster, either Madara or Obito, will be God. They'll make the rules. Free will won't exist. People who are trapped within the illusion will be little more than toys at their mercy.

People don't get what they want, they get what Obito wants them to get.

You are basically a mindless drone for the rest of your existence in a pretend world controlled by a lunatic.

You can't be with your real loved ones, you are with fakes and the love is fake. How can a father hold his child in a dream world? How can two people fall in love in a dream world?

Oh, the naïveté.

One day you will be forced to break out of your innocence. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.

Nope, he is right.

In Infinite Tsukuyomi you are basically living with card board cut outs and pretending they are real.

That does not even sound sane.
