To me, Cojuro doesn't look old enough nor does he seem to have evil qualities so I doubt that he was involved in the blood mist. and as for them doing criminal activities, it depends what you mean. They killed everyonwe in their own class which I consider pretty criminal personally so in that way yes but at the time it wasn't considered criminal and quite honestly who is to say what is criminal when in the ninja world people are killed all of the time

If he isn't an original Seven I don't consider him to be one. To me, it seems like the Seven have been faltering a lot recently and Chojuro seems far too young to be an actual member. I doubt he would be acknowledged by the other seven as a member.

He didn't even do this. It was stated that this practice was stopped because it came too violent and Chojuro seems young enough that he didn't have to go through this.

It very well may be; however I would not be impressed if he was. In my opinion the Seven Swordsmen are no longer a big deal. A majority of them are dead or disbanded which means either those that are left are the result of self proclamation, or an unworthy apprenticeship.
