It would require a server setup of at least 3 racks running a single virtual terminal with Linux or certain x64 editions of Windows Server 2008, only those operating systems can run such an amount of memory. So they are right, it's very unlikely you're running that much RAM, not even mentioning it's totally overkill for the tasks you perform.

Either way, WoW does in fact take ages to install due to a buttload of patches and the fact they never update the main installer package of the game due to laziness (which is also proven with their awful graphical qualities).

Class: Hunter
Server: Bronzebeard[european]

I'm kinda a noob, lol

Also, lol at the 800 gigs of ram
not quite as funny as the kid at my work though, thinks he has a 50MB/s net connection, lolage.

They announced the game in 2001 and released it in 2004... If they wanted to increase the graphics far beyond their fundament in order to reach nowadays standards, they'd have to create World of Warcraft 2. It's decent for its age, considering it's an MMORPG.

Quitted playing 5 months ago, at that time i had this arsenal:
EU-Turalyon:
- Sithys, 80 rogue (All the others are in his guild)
- 80 Death knight
- 70 Warrior
- 70 Priest
- 70 Shaman
- 70 Paladin
- 70 Mage
- 70 Druid
- 60 Hunter
EU-Vashj
- Droith 65 Warlock
EU-Magtheridon
Mipp 60 Mage (Magtheridon)

Some games released earlier than World of Warcraft:

Lineage 2

Prison Tale

Everquest 2

I'd also like to mention the story line of World of Warcraft is absolutely nowhere near intriguing and it lacks concept, like all other MMORPG's developed in the west.

There's nothing good about WoW really, it's just actively developed (like any game should) and is overrated considering the amount of other games out there that go way deeper.

no ofense but WOW is just a waste of money... u have to buy the game and aslo a monthly fee.

all this just to go do the same thing for days, months and years(yeah ingame)think of it... in one year u use 500dollar. and u can buy somthing realy cool for that amount of money.

personaly i have played two monthcards. but when i got to LVL 27 i finaly realised that i just did the same thing over and over. its like u play the game to the end and start it agen, just a bit harder.

IT`S A BAD HABBIT, U USE UP ALL UR FREETIME MANNY PPL SKIP SCHOOL JUST TO PLAY IT.
AS SOONER U QUIT THE BEATHER.

and one thing that is nice when u quit is that u get more money to use on usefull things
