Rinnengan's influence in this sort of battle would be minimal judging by the power scaling. Well besides Gakidou however since it absorbs chakra and Naruto's cloak in BM is made of chakra. Reason why Madara despite having Rinnengan says his full power is Susanoo(PS), and keep using it against Hashirama. So all in all, Sasuke doesn't need Rinnengan to compete with Naruto. Infact Rinnengan won't change a thing in the configuration. What he needs is a power capable to compete with Naruto's overwhelming power(in raw battle), so he would have to combat fire with fire.

He would need PS, but i do believe PS alone won't be enough of a power up especially since another one should happen on Naruto when he will receive the other part. Having Itachi's eyes, it's possible however that he could unlock the items, and being a superior enton user, it's possible that his enton variants would even be more dangerous and incredible, and thus making his PS even more frightening than Madara's.

Other people are talking about SM power-ups and so on, but honestly at this point it's unlikely. But well that's only my personal take on the matter, depending if Kishi really want to put Sasuke on Naruto's level at this point, because more the time pass, more i start to believe Sasuke would probably follow the same path as Goku in DBZ, time after time not acknowledging the power of his rival, thinking he is inferior in every points only to notice in the end that the hero is the superior one

He'll probably get something that has to do with Natural Energy, Orochimaru's scroll that Suigetsu found, and an upgrade in Susanoo in order to match Naruto.

The Rin'negan grants the user varying abilities derived from it's six segments and 7th ability. These abilities thus far do not require 'training' of any sort but rather that the desired user is in possession of the Dōjutsu itself. Nagato having access to and utilizing it's power before having trained in basic Ninjutsu highlights that fact.

In terms of inefficiency there is little pointing towards that. ​

I don't see either Madara or Obito pulling Shinra Tenseis left and right so I highly doubt if Sasuke will be doing it soon.

Well keep in mind nagato wasn't at his fullest cause of controlling all the bodies , but when he fought edo nagato , if it wasn't cause of itachi, naruto was gonna get rape , so im pretty sure Sasukes rineggan will also be as strongest as nagatos & of course even greater .......+ is the only thing that sauske has left .

Oddly true Derp, given the scans I've provided and it is something that I've been wondering: why would Masashi have the current Rin'negan users reserve it's potential? But I've reasoned that Madara hasn't been pushed to great extents and that abilities he was in possession of prior to gaining the Doujutsu are thus far sufficient... Obito may be following a similar trend but it just doesn't add up that they refuse to use its fully potential, Tendo's abilities specifically.

@ Blaze Release: Yeah pretty much with the Senjutsu concept but I'm hoping Masashi has something else in store for Susanoo's development as opposed to copy and pasting Madara's Perfect Susano'o then there is the idea of combining techniques of the Eien no Mangekyou Sharingan. Simply, there is still much Kishimoto can do with Sasuke and his eyes to keep him on par with naruto. Raw power isn't everything and it is something many tend to overlook.

Perhaps Madara like Obito is so accustomed in using their MS/EMS that they found it unnecessary to use the Rinnegan techs unless dire necessity calls for it? or it could be Kishimoto is just showcasing the Uchiha powers of Madara and Obito because re-introducing the Rinnegan Techs would just be repetitious, I dunno.

He can't awake the rinnegan because he doesn't have Senju's DNA, even if he does get it, he won't awake it right away, it will take a lot of years for him to unlock it/awake it.

His power up could be another unknown EMS technique combined with ENTON and Perfect Susano'o.

Naruto dealt with the rinnegan but with every jutsu individually. But we know what Nagato did with Naruto and Killer Bee. He simultaneously grabbed Killer Bee with his mechanism, tried to extract Naruto's soul as well as absorbed Naruto's rasengan. An individual can make many combinations using the Rinnegan techniques which cannot be achieved with the each jutsu instilled in different individual. We know Sasuke is good at fighting, a good thinker for strategy (as seen in Danzo fight) and also has EMS. So he can really give a tough fight to Naruto.

It would be a big help, but Sasuke needs Senju DNA for that to be possible. Tsunade is the only living Senju that he can get DNA from but I don't see that happening.
