Honestly his intellect set him up to be virtually unstoppable except for Uchiha Eye Haax (Izanami), and Obito's current state.



I loved how he went from devoted servant to trying to find his own way... Managing to play toe to toe with Obito's own scheme.

I think his powers are beastly, but I do not like his psychological complexity for becoming a villain. Kabuto says that his goal was to find and be his true self, but he does the exact opposite; which was try and become Orochimaru combined with many other ninja in 1 body. It's a contradictory. He can't be *himself* if he tries to become Orochimaru, the Sound 5, and Taka in 1 body.

He wasn't becoming Orochimaru. He was tired of being the servant, and serving under people. So in being himself he became one of the main leads of the War.

sasuke never once used enton in an offensive manner. isn't that strange?

Izanami was the biggest asspull in anime history U_U

MANGA only so far, but it wasn't an asspull. Itachi simply didn't have a reason to mention it before he needed it.
Izanagi is apart of a myth with Izanami and the other Sharingan abilities before Naruto was ever created. If you knew about that story then you would have expected Izanami to be featured in this story. Izanami is a LOOP and this story is full of Loops and parallels and foreshadowing so it fits perfectly. Obito used Izanagi and Itachi explained all jutsu have weaknesses. It wasn't an asspull; Kishi just didn't mention it before it was actually needed.

OT: I always figured Kabuto would raise to that level in Naruto , but having an Edo Army of that quantity was sort of ridiculous and a much bigger *problem* in the manga than Izanami ever was. It was simply not mentioned before it was of needed use in the story. Its some what of a surprise for the readers like Kabuto even becoming a Dragon Sage . Although it should be thought of that Orochimaru would have students that surpasses him at some things.

kabuto could have been a way better obito,he has a better motive to try to change the world,and a way better backstory than obito the exception he's not an uchiha so he couldn't have awakened a new power to face the world because he can't love as much as the uchiha does.(notice the heavy sarcasm here:|)
and yes kabuto could have one-shotted sasuke and itachi,white rage+kimimaru's bones GG.too bad kishimoto decided he can only use a jutsu after another dumbly without any good combinations.

why was itachi able to put up a susanoo defense in hakugeki? I bet life or death sasuke ends up doing the same. not to mention now that sasuke knows what white rage is he would set up an enton defense before hand
