Re: The Uchiha coup situation doesn't seems at all realistic to me
No one said they were evil. Think of the Uchiha clan more like a union. The clan leader typically spoke on behalf of the majority, and if he didn't then he could rally the other men up to revolt with him. Regardless though, they all needed to go. If only the ones acting out were killed, it would only serve as a message to those who lived, and would stage continued revolts. Just look at Sasuke, he was the only one allowed to live, and look how that ended up. Imagine 2 dozen Sasukes running around.
Lots of people here say they are evil. never mind that it is utterly unethical to wipe out an entire clan.
What about this? what if someone had told Sasuke the truth before he became consumed with hatred when he was still friends with Naruto? I don't think he would have sworn to kill them all.
It also because the Leaf wiped all the Uchiha that Sasuke wanted to kill them. They killed innocents, like the Uchiha children and his aunt that had nothing to do with that coup. Therefore, Sasuke decides to kill them all , though not all were involved in the massacre. He is using the same kill them all logic Danzo used.
Hatred does not end when you kill them all. It ends with both parties finding the middle ground. Hatred is vanquished when both parties come together and both admit that they were in the wrong. Hatred ends via reconciliation, not genocide. By your logic, the Leaf should kill all the Cloud ninja. Why? Their leader killed Neji's father. If we kill their leader, they'll seek revenge and kill us. Then we'll have to kill some more of then as payback. Why not kill them all, right now
for crimes they'll commit in the future as payback for our actions? The cycle of hatred is just that a
cycle and it can only end when both parties have had enough.
