Getting tired of you people. Yes Rin triggered his downfall but that's not the only reason. Obito was a naive kid who knew nothing about the world. When Rin died was when his eyes opened up to all the chaos,death,destruction,etc around him. It was her death that made him realize how fcked up the world is. He wants to change everything not just her death. If all he wanted was her then all he would've done was bring her back with edo tensai. And here's a manga scan to prove my point..

Minato wasn't there to help and eventually was forced to make naruto a Jin and if he would have known it was obito he might have stopped him back then but he didn't and this made minato trash

Anyway, it's not his fault. This whole War arc has been a shambles and even though it had great potential, it's all come down to two characters that have had the majority of their developments in this arc, they are;

1. Naruto
2. Obito

Kishi has realized that his main character was unbelievably underwhelming and his main(?) villain was underwhelming so we are being given forced chapters of apparent development just for them and in the process, other side characters have got lost in shuffle.

It's sad.

P.S. Obito was a Shinobi. Can't handle the harsh realities of it, don't be one.
