But that's a manga. This is real life. You don't think that everyone has some sort of hidden agenda? What are you, like 12, anyway? Wait till you get out in the real world with a job. People will use you. And they won't lose any sleep over it. That's life. Anything you say or do can be used against you out there. Everyone is looking for an edge. If you are simple minded and bare it all out there for people to see, what happens? A few people may respect that, but most will see someone that they can use as a stepping stone to their own goals. Only fools think that "never giving up" is the way to go through life. Sometimes you just have to give up. It is more impressive to try something and say I failed then it is to keep trying when you have no chance of success. That is childish. Children are protected in this world for a reason. But thank you for the exercise. You have really shown me the error of my ways and I will be sure to implement it
