Oh I get out plenty. I'm glad you brought up friends. Do you share everything that you are thinking at a given time with them? Do they with you? Of course not. Even among the closest of friends, secrets will exist. How could they not? A certain stigma is always attached to anyone who doesn't have thoughts or actions that conform with society, especially amongst friends. How about next time you find yourself with your friends, you share with them your deepest and darkest thoughts? The outcome won't be what you want. They may laugh it off as a joke, but the doubt will always be there. That is why we all wear masks. Some masks are just more permanent than others
What are you watching Naruto for? Seems like you haven't learned anything. Whenever the common people are asked, 'what they learn from Naruto?', 99% of the answers will be 'don't give up........?' :|
But one of the many things that Naruto's character is about is being completely genuine. Expressing what ever is within. In short, truly being himself. He's a kid who has never had any hidden agendas in his life, he means everything he says and it all comes from the heart.
So you go ahead and keep your mask on if you like. I am a strict practitioner of this faith.
You just have to take the risk. That is the way it is. That is life. That is the only way to live it up to the fullest, and it is very fulfilling.
You should try it sometime.
I'll give you little exercise for the week to help you get started, try and accomplish everything you say and set out to do for the next seven days. Discard your negative thoughts and impulses and embrace the positive.
