Kishi handles Sakura badly

I just reread most of the war, and have to say something. Really, I'm no Sakura fan, but it's really bad writing how he puts her in and out of the plot randomly.

So, he didn't show her for 99% of the war. Then, as Naruto and Sasuke reunite, he goes all out, introducing her as the third main character, in one team and on par with the other two. She is with them kicking ass on the frontline.

And then, suddenly, when Obito returns from Kamui and becomes the Jin, Kishi completely forgets about her until a brief scene this chapter.

Either have her be a secondary supporting character from the start, OR make her a main character, but sitching her on and off like that is just stupid.

He does that with other characters too, but with Sakura it's the most obvious.

For ex; she is currently not one one of my faves at all; but her comeback in the beginning of part2 was amazing. It was a great job for Kishi that he dug out such character from oh-so-horrible part 1 Sakura. She was awful back then; yet she became actually useful, fighting, intelligent at battle etc.

Then she almost comes back to her old self; she falls dwon from that bridge or tries to foolishly attack Sasuke...

She should have shown improvement; not such drawbacks...it feels weird to me.

NO SHIT he handles her badly! Kishimoto cannot write a female, any female, in a decent (i.e. respectable) manner. You can try to argue against it, but the fact that his women have any sort of fanbase at all is almost miraculous.

I like Temari and Chiyo. Also Konan, Tenten, Kushina, Tayuya, Anko...
There are females that are not that bad; but they are rarely shown; maybe Kishi screws up with women when he tries to solve them or give depth.

Not just feats.
Of course she would be better in feats; she had more screentime than all of their's combination.

Power do not matter to me that much; i was mentioning about characterization and portrayal of females.
All females i have mentioned had better portrayal in my opinion.
Despite they had much little paneltime; i just like them more.

Yes, absolutely. I really liked her at that part, fighting Sasori with Chiyo. She was tough, powerful and clever. That fight is still one of the best in the whole series imho. And after that she only played very minor roles here and there, like clobbering the caterpillar summon in the Pain arc. She didn't get another main plot fight where she was the main focus. Again, I'm no fan, but it's kinda shameful.
