(Ototon: Oto Bunshin no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Sound Clone Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 20(40 when its disperses)
Description: Creates a clone of sound that can send high sound waves at the foe. Does double the damage when disperse.

Quite simple, yet lacking and inconvenient in in description again. Needs heavy revamping.

Creating a clone out of sound or sound chakra, that can actually send sound waves at the opponent. The nice part, it doesn't specify what the sound waves do, so use this to your imagination. Apart from that, using this in combination with a genjutsu, and specifying what happens when the clone disperses (as you can choose the effect really), making it a killer combo if needed. I'd say that you could disable them or damage them with the disperse/sound waves. Remember, it does only have a B-rank in power, so don't overestimate it. Low frequency, high frequency, all the same. It can be anything. It can only use sound techniques if I remember correctly, yes.

Does the clone releasing sound waves count as a move? What are the limits to the size of the waves? When it disperses, are the sound waves deflected by the technique used to destroy the actual clone, or is it a delayed release of the waves?

I was told in my training that it doesn't count as a move, no. But, in lieu with the new Sound jutsu updates, it may be changed to make it count as a move. For the sake of not causing arguments and for the sake of RP, I'd recommend using the waves as a jutsu per turn. And the limits are up to the creator! That's one of the beauties of this jutsu. The waves you create can vary from low frequency waves to high frequency waves, each with their own effect in mind. Though regarding the size of the waves, I'd say nothing extremely large, such as a boss summoning obviously. The highest I'd say is a reasonable size would be no more than a house's height (or in terms of RP, a village building).

Tell me, if you create high frequency waves with this, how would you use them? If you create low frequency waves, how you use those? To what effects what you create them?

And I don't understand your last question much. o_O

I'd probably use high frequency waves in close range. Have the clone disperse next to/near them, and then use the sound waves to either disorient them, or affect their balance. I then could perform a taijutsu move, some freeform, or a quick close range attack. Low frequency, I could use to travel long-range around/through an earthen obstacle on the battlefield, in order to reach my opponent. This would be able to travel long distances in a short amount of time, while I could perform some technique emerging from above/below to create a combination attack.

Ah, but you have it a bit backwards. You see, High Frequency waves are the more offensive ones, while the low frequency ones are the disorienting ones. I would use the high frequency waves to create waves that cause inner ear damage and bodily damage from the vibrations and use the low frequency waves to cause paralyzation from the waves, motion sickness, vertigo, etc.

Nope!

(Ototon: Kireme Yure) - Sound Release: Shattering Vibrations
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user gathering chakra into both of their hands begin to excite the air and cause it to vibrate extremely fast. Upon slamming the two separate vibrations together and releasing them, it creates a powerful technique which can shatter various objects.

An upgraded version of a past jutsu you learned, I'm sure I don't have to explain the mechanics behind this one. Sadly, Xylon said it can't destroy flesh/bones. It can destroy stone and kunais, but not the human body. Tis broke my heart when I found out. This is more like an upgraded, more powerful version of that C ranked jutsu you learned a while back. z.z

So basically no reason to use the C-rank now. o_o If the user claps twice in rapid succession, can this technique be released in succession to combine the two?

Well, my personal belief is that it's an uni-directional jutsu, working only in the direction that you use it in. Wes taught me that it works in an omnidirectional jutsu, the clap spreading waves outwards in every direction. That logically makes sense as if someone is facing away from you but makes a sound, you still can hear it. I just feel for the sake of "underpowering" Sound as many believe it's too OPed, I'd recommend it as a singular direction, but using it in any way would not be wrong.

And well, yes. You can clap like that and create a more powerful wave. Also, with two claps, it'd be able to disperse an S rank jutsu.

:dafq: Oh yes, yes... no more questions on this.

Lol. xD

Good. Now the last jutsu of the current list

(Ototon: Takanari Kichigai) - Sound Release: Ringing Madness
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user gathering their chakra into the air having it flow towards the opponent causes this portion of sound to remain in their opponents ears. The ringing continues to grow as time progresses as at first it will disrupt how a person hears eventually hampering their ability to think. From that it starts to mess with their balance until they become incredibly disorientated.Lasts 10 turns and reduces damage of the jutsu used against the user by -5 until this effect wears off.

Basically, you damage their ear drums with this technique. The technique it self continues to disrupt the person his hearing and his ability to think clearly. Lastly, he becomes disorientated. Since each jutsu rank has a 20 difference in damage, after 4 turns it lowers the opponent's techniques by 1 rank. It's also pretty disorienting, imagine a constant humming or buzzing while you try to study. This gives the same effect. It takes away the ability to think clearly after a while (not instantaneous). After 8 turns, their jutsus would be lowered by 2 ranks.

So each turn, each technique loses 5 damage points? Are the sound waves visible or have any sort of signal that could alert the opponent to what is incoming? And this one is NOT released by the user correct? It is formed from the air around him.

-Yes
-Well, I'd say it would resemble heatwaves, like when you see rippling in the sky from fires.
-Correcto-mundo. It would be the second type of Sound jutsus, those of physical Hindering jutsus.
