It would be useless. Naruto has no skill whatsoever in doujutsu. Besides the "hype" and theories, Rinnegan wouldn't make sense.And I doubt that Sasuke would benefit from Rinnegan too, given that he did not see any Pain/Nagato using it's abilities.
So I think Naruto with the Sage-Biju-Mode would be the most effective together with Sasuke EMS.
But of course...Seeing Naruto with Rinnegan would be beast

Naruto getting rinnegan makes more sense then Sasuke.
1) Sasuke doesn't have an exceptional amount of chakra which is needed for 1 to spam Rinnegan techniques (the reason why Obito didn't use them at all) - Naruto does have.
2) Naruto have seem Nagato using all of them, so he has an overall image of what it's capable of
3) Naruto is kinda SO6P's heir and the main hero of the manga, and having Rinnegan together with all the bijuu's chakra would be logical in the and as well

Still, we don't know how SO6P got his Rinnegan until the plot is over Remember that Juubi has an eye that suspiciousely looks like a Rinnegan+Sharingan.

I'm not sure, but this tablet has many "layers" that can only be read with the right doujutsu.
I think that Madara knew how to achieve the Rinnegan, but didn't know how to use it's abilities until he awoke the Rinnegan and read that tablet with it. Just speculation though...

how was madara able to use those rinnegan techs.
how itachi learned his techs
how kakashi and obito learned their ms techs...

the answer is they just did.

when you awaken your ms or rinnegan, you by default gain knowledge about these abilities.!!

Sasuke getting the rinnegan is actually more logical and realistic because the rinnegan is a dojutsu and naruto heritage isn't in possession of any dojutsu and sasuke is and its a fact that the rinnegan is the final evolution of the sharingan and ems uchiha are the only ones capable of reading all the tablets left by the sage andmadara has done that he followed it too the last letter and eventually awakened the rinnegan and uchiha are descendant of the elder son who possessed the rinnegan and the senju are descendant of the younger son and uzumaki ties in with senju

Really, I have no idea, but this proves nothing, and I'm just speculating.
But I doubt that when someone awakes a doujutsu, they simple "know" how to use their abilities.
Unless you are the SOT6P.

For me, I would prefer for Sasuke to have Rinnegan, though this doesn't completely count out Naruto either. If he is the sage's heir like everyone is saying, it only makes sense he has all of his powers, minus Juubi. In the end though, Naruto getting it does make sense, as it seems Kishimoto isn't sticking with the younger and older son parallel anymore. And I would love for Sasuke to have an all new original doujutsu, or at least one that has a blank slate, like the elder brother's doujutsu.

Naruto is the only person who will get the rinnegan. What basis do you say that naruto has no skill in doujutsu? he is being a beast at sensing people's intent and chakra with his sage mode. Just because he has a goofy non combat style does not mean he is bad at doujutsu. look at the facts/theory:
1. who else had the rinnegan? S06p (prob uzumaki), Nagato (uzumaki), obito and madara (combining uchiha and senju (to form uzumaki) and naruto is.....UZUMAKI. he is the only person who can inherit the rinnegan.
2. He is most like the so6p, and all of the bijuu know he will be the one that the so6p foretold
3. sasuke will not obtain it because of the fact that he has no senju DNA

1. He already knows of the Rinnegan and its abilities.

2. It doesn't work like the other Dojutsu we have seen. It is incredibly taxing on chakra and all the techniques are large scale Ninjutsu and don't work on a premise that involves pre-cognition (Like the Sharingan and the Byakugan's perception).

3. Naruto is the only suitable host for the Rinnegan at this point because of his chakra levels.

i never liked the idea of naruto with an eye power-up,i loathe it,but still i have to tell you that awakening a dojutsu(MS,EMS,rinnegan) gives the user an instant access to all of its abilities,the only thing is needed is practice to perfect,there's no need to learn or anything.(madara used rinnegan insantanly to summon gedo despite zero experience with it,same with obito,and nagato used it without even knowing(because he wasn't a shinobi and didn't know how to use chakra effectively).so if anyone( naruto included)awakens rinnegan he can use it right away.
