No, Kabuto couldn't... because most of them were all sealed. Wow, Itachi always gets so lucky, all of his opponents are always handicapped somehow.

Well Kakashi was trying to protect Kurenai and Asuma from both Itachi and Kisame, although he did mistakenly believe that the Sharingan would protect him from genjutsu. Convenient. Kakashi is also considered border-line Kage level too, so Itachi's victory isn't as substantial as if he were to have beaten someone else that was more powerful.
Orochimaru was dying and needed to trade bodies, to that effect he couldn't risk killing Itachi so he held back. He tried to take Itachi's body, failed, and left.
Sasuke was not handicapped. This is honestly Itachi's only fight where things were even, and he technically lost.

And sasuke attmepted to kill him before he did, proveing there is more than enuff time for itachi to use use tosuka blade to seal him before useing white rage.

@SMD Every one on the site try to come up with reasons to de-rate ITachi. The mere fact that Itachi is the most hated,wanked,praised, and manga/databook OP confirmed drive people mad. Kabuto wanked him 4 times in that fight maybe even more lol

Hilarious this fool said just cause he wasn't trying to kill him doesn't mean he didn't hold back..
Obviously Kabuto got desperate near the end of the fight considering he used every jutsu in his arsenal.
On top of that Kabuto praised Itachi 4 times in that fight and EVEN BEFORE the fight started Kabuto reminded Itachi that he couldn't kill him simply because Kabuto knew if Itachi had killing intentions he would have died. Just face the facts guys Itachi being the genius that he is figured out a way to win an unwinnable situation.. Also if you look at that fight Itachi died because he knew he could since he was EDO. I hate when people make post about how many times Itachi died in that fight. If this was the case then that means
Lee kills Madara too right? Or is it just cause you Itachi haters are too butt hurt to suck up the loss

First of all, Kabuto never said Itachi could kill him if he had a killing intent. Stop making things up
Second of all, it was the Shinobi Alliance vs Madara not Lee vs Madara
Kabuto
1. Had to find against two people
2. Itachi was an Edo and had unlimited chakra + instant regeneration while when he was alive, he was among the sobi was ith the lowest stamina
3. Sasuke had the EMS
4. Itachi had the MS and could use it without any fear of blindness which is very similar to EMS
5. Kabuto had to make sure he did not harm Sasuke
6. Kabuto did not use Edo Tensei nor did he summon Manda II
7. Used up a lot of chakra since he was controlling Edos using Edo Tensei
Sasuke and Itachi
1. Had to stop Kabuto without killing him

Also you neglect the fact that kabuto had a terrain advantage and had sage mode and all his moves were for countering Uchiha... Stop hating and be happy that Kabuto lasted longer than 2 panels against solo king

As far as I remember, Itachi got 'killed' more than 4 times whilst the only time Itachi was able to harm Kabuto was when he cut off Kabuto's horn and this happened because Kabuto had forgotten he even had a horn
Love how you say most of his moves were for countering the Uchiha. It is more like
'Itachi entire arsenal could not produce a single technique that could harm Kabuto'
Insead of providing a list of counters Itachi could have to Kabuto's techniques, all you do is spam "TOTSUKA GG IZANAMI GG AMATERASU GG"
But then again, what can I expect from you?

It's really unfair how Kabuto wasn't at full strength. Edo Tensei is Kabuto's strongest jutsu. Without all his Edos, he was probably at 10% power during his match.
How about this setup?
Kabuto + 4 Edo Kages+Edo Nagato+rest of Akasuki vs Itachi( without Sasuke)?

I'm a confirmed Itachitard hater, actually. I don't actually care that much about Itachi. But when you guys crawl out from under your bridge, I just have to get my torch and pitchfork.
Itachi said they have to beat Kabuto without killing him. So, you can't beat someone without killing them? Hashirama fought and beat Madara in past fights without trying to kill him, even forbidding Tobirama from killing him. Hell, Itachi used jutsus like Amaterasu against Sasuke without trying to kill him, couldn't he inflict as much damage as he could on Kabuto without killing him?
Itachi figured out how to win an unwinnable fight by being immortal zombie? Wow, what a genius! So, how does living Itachi win?
What I hate is that people decide that living Itachi is capable of doing what edo Itachi can do, even though edo Itachi is an immortal regenerating zombie with unlimited chakra and completely restored eyes/body. He's FAR more powerful than he ever was alive.
Did KC Lee pick through Madara?
No matter what Itachi was defeated by Sasuke.
