lol @ those who think Mei even has a chance of winning in a neutral area.
His kunais won't even get a chance to come near her. They'd get melted or deflected with suitons. She can also jump back.
He doesn't need to toss his Kunai straight at her first of all, not when he can simplyYou must be registered for see links. Mei can't get them all. Not to mention he can throw Kunai all around her with the use of Shadow Clones, she can't get all of the Kunai so in the end she gets slammed with a Rasengan on her back or a Kunai slits her throat.
No move she has can even hit him due to Hiraishin.
Scratch mid difficulty, in an open area he takes her low difficulty.
Lava spreaded around her makes all the kunai useless. They melt before even touching the ground.
He has no counter to Hiding in the mist jutsu.
Even if he manages to strike her with Rasengan, he melts as well due to Corrosive Mist. You can say that he teleports away immediately but one needs to maintain the shape manipulation of Rasengan for it to have any impact. If you don't maintain it - it's shit.
Lava spread around her is simply lava on the ground after she fires it, Minato doesn't need to throw Kunai at the ground in order for him to be able to blitz her via Hiraishin. Mei isn't getting every Kunai coming at her in a 360 degree assault before they hit her, not with the speed of her lava.
Um, once Minato throws the Kunai around her its over, she has to actually expel the mist first cause she isn't reacting to Minato's assault once he teleports to her and attacks via Rasengan.
Or he could teleport right above her with a Kunai and use Food Cart Destroyer.
You mean the Hiding in Mist Jutsu that also impairs her as well? Zabuza was able to keep track of opponents in the mist, Mei has shown no such skill, if she makes the mist too thick she gets blinded as well. When she used the mist in the manga Madara had no problems at all fighting in it. What is she going to do in the mist anyway? Any attack she uses can be teleported away from as he was able to react to Ay when he was mere centimeters from his face.
Not to mention in an open area, the Hiding in Mist Jutsu or the Corrosive Mist aren't as effective as Minato can simply leave the Area the mist covers.
Um, not really. Throwing a bunch of Kunai doesn't take long and teleportation is instant. You are suggesting that Mei is going to repel Kunai coming at her from all directions with her slow moves like Lava, which is completely ridiculous.U're making it sound as if Minato does all those things in 0.0001s and Mei stants doing nothing. Her aoe attacks are the perfect counter for all the kunai spread around her. Mei also showed some serious speed feats, for example speed-blitzing Zetsu (one of the best sensors) without him even noticing.
Zabuza's covered the whole battlefield cause he used the water they were standing on, Mei doesn't have such a luxury in a neutral location. Imbuing it with more chakra makes it thicker and could increase the AoE some but it won't cover the whole battlefield. Not when we have already seen itBoth mist jutsu are as effective as the user wants them to be. She'd need to imbue it with a little bit more chakra to make it's area of effect wider.
Nope. Nothing implies that. You believe that she can do that just because she can use it, how would you even know she has tons of experience with it when she's used in battle once during this whole manga? That's just a baseless assumption. Your experience with the mist doesn't magically allow to see right through it.I can agree with you that we've seen no proof that Mei can see perfectly in her mist, but one does not use techniques that he can't take any advantage of. Mei has tons of experience with her Hiding in the mist jutsu, Minato doesn't. Simple implication proves that she can see (even if not perfectly) through the mist much better than Minato.
I wanna see Minato teleporting away her Concentrated corrosive mist spit. It's almost instant, takes no hand signs and doesn't give away her chakra usage at all. As far as I know Minato can't teleport air lol.

lol? Serious speed feat? Zetsu isn't even fast and he is not one of the best sensors, where did that even come from. Mei has no remarkable speed feats at all.
Mei is never getting off anything past her first attack before she gets a Rasengan to the neck.

Mei used that technique in that instance because it helped to catch Madara off guard in Susanoo, but it didn't completely blind him as the scan above shows. Mu and Madara saw Onoki and Ay coming.
Open area says hi. Mei's mist doesn't cover the whole battlefield, he can easily teleport out of range. Instant>Almost Instant. Not to mention only the firing of it is fast, it still has to reach Minato. Who has no reason at all to fight in the mist.
She can use her suiton to reflect kunais. Suiton are much faster than lava.
Speed-blitzing a sensor (I won't discuss with you if Zetsu is one of the best sensors or not in this thread) from quite a far distance WITHOUT him even noticing is quite a speed feat.
She used her Hiding in the mist jutsu only once because it's the way manga works. But she had to use it many times before, especially while learning and practising it.
Muu and Madara could see through the mist because as you said - it couldn't be THAT thick because it'd blind her allies as well. Moreover Muu is one helluva sensor and Madara has his Sharingan.
Lastly, I wasn't talking about the Corrosive mist but about her CONCENTRATED corrosive mist SPIT. It doesn't need to reach him since it's a short+mid range technique. It's used almost instantly and it's destructive power is much greater than the normal, spread mist.
