Microsoft Word?

Well, I got my laptop back from Dell a few days ago, and discovered that Microsoft Word (actually, Word, Excel, and the other programs in whatever that groups called) is gone from my computer. I'm not to concerned about Excel or the others, but I find it difficult to write in anything else but Word.

Is there somewhere I can download it? (Legally), or does it have to be bought?

Microsoft Office is a software that has to be bought. And its quite expensive aswell.

There's another software that you can download from the internet (legally) that is almost the same. It's called Open Office.

well if you are in college theres a chance that you could get copy from them, other then that you will have to by the office suit as Foxhuntress said and it is overpriced. You could always try looking on Ebay or Newegg to see if you can find it relatively cheaper or maybe see if microsoft is doing an open beta on their newest version

alright..and a beta is basically a trial run before the final copy is released for sale. it allows the software companies to find and eliminate any bugs in the software
