there were only two ninja's strong enough to fight him. (Tsunade and Kakashi)
Tsunade spent all her chakra healing and kakashi died after taking down one out of six pains (more or less)
It wasn't Pain fighting Konoha, It was a slaughter.
if he's able to take them out without effort i guess it is
it's the same as frieza vs gohan vegeta krillin and piccolo
and then androide 17 and 18 vs all z fighters but goku and yamcha
brolly vs all super sayan's and picollo
ichigo vs the forest of hollow
in all these cases its far because the bigger group his like 10 or 100 times weaker then there adversary

Is nah Pain fault they are so weak,

Is a fair fight, Konoha vs Pain?yes or not...
still waiting, sence the debate started....

if konoha ninja where all at kakashi's level then no not fair
if there all most all of them iruka's level then yes its freaken fair because only kakashi some anbu and tsunade can kill pain's body but they need outside help i guess that says it all
its like the 3rd hokage vs team 7 when they did the bell test ( which i would say not far for team 7 at all since sakura his useless at that time naruto cant put a single attack not even with bushin and sasuke as katon the 3rd now all of konoha's jutsu damn thats hard )
then lets see:
pain:
all elements so he can block all the elemental attack's throw at him
the 6 path are all dead from the start and can be regenerated
he cant be touched unless u can do a 4 second dash
he blow the freakin village
weakest hokage ever tsunade
yes she is strong at taijutsu and good med-ninja and smart but she couldnt beat nagato

there weak at diract combat
gravity doesnt need hand signs so shadow are of the picture (plus pains great advage he has 6 bodies shikamaru cant get them all)
ino cant use mind jutsu because that's nagato's specialty
we saw what happened to chouji and his clan
kiba would be the same as chouji

lol of course its not fair becuz they arent as strong as he is... if u want an real life example its like the worlds heavy weight champion is fighting 10 amateurs that just started boxing, the result would be devastating for the 10 becuz even if they outnumbers him he will just overpower them (XD maybe like 1 KO per punch)
Me and Virgil have been trying to tell him that for the past hour but he won't listen.
he thinks that everyone in konoha, Kids, shopkeepers, old people, etc, are as strong as jounin and all attacking pain at the same time. (He Totaly ignores the fact there are 6 pains plus Konan)
