Wrong. The MS could control a wild kyuubi. Actually, it was the EMS that could do it. Now, naruto is a perfect jin, he is friends with kurama. Itachi's genjutsu is useless as naruto can easily snap out of it. Naruto's power in bijuu mode is great enough for him to fight 5 powerful bijuus. His speed and defense are great as well.
Alive itachi has low stamina, he wouldn't be able to keep susanoo for long. After or even before that, naruto can speed blitz him. After susanoo is over, naruto can take itachi down easily.

Sasuke has more stamina than alive itachi and an EMS. While you can say that their susanoo is on the same lvl and itachi has totsuka and yata, sasuke can protect himself long enough for itachi to be vulnerable, killing him after it.
