You're forgetting one thing, when Itachi mananged to control Naruto in his genjutsu, Naruta and the nine-tails didn't yet team up, wich makes a world of difference, like we can see when Sasuke was able to put Killer under a genjutsu with his mangekyou sharingan. Killer bee said, Jinchuriki who team up with their tailed beast, cannot be beat with genjutsu!

You can't use ms on perfect jinjuriki . MADARA tried that on Naruto but it wouldn't work . Also , madara would have done so by now . You also can't genjutsu a perfect jinjuriki .

Itachi beats Naruto in SM or KCM with tsukuyomi, and beats Naruto in BM with totsuka blade.

Sasuke on the other hand burns totsuka blade and yata mirror with amaterasu, check the definition of deflect if you think yata blocks amaterasu. Sasuke breaks any genjutsu with ease using EMS. Sasuke is immune to amaterasu because one of his eyes can extinguish amaterasu in an instant, and at close range Sasuke > Itachi because Sasuke can use his amaterasu as armor and Itachi can't.

Saying Itachi could beat EMS Sasuke is like saying that Madara's brother Izuna could defeat EMS Madara.
