L's body turns to water and reforms behind one of the samurai using a puddle I placed during onto the battlefield earlier, L than puts his finger to the Samurais head/helmet

(Injured not dead. No one hit kills here. The Samurai jumps back with great speed trying to avoid another attack from L. As he repositions himself back between the other 2 Samurai the 3 prepare for another assault. Rune spits a large quantity of water on the field creating a small lake. He then forms a large ball of water from the lake and hurls it at all 3 Samurai.)

(Rune rushes the 3rd Samurai as he recoils of the tree. Seeing Rune rush forward, the 3rd samurai attempts to block Rune's forward sword thrust with his own. The blades clash producing a loud clang. while deadlocked the other 2 samurai rush Rune from both sides attempting to cleave him in 2 from the waist. Rune rotates his upper body clockwise.)

It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
