I just remembered a recent article in which NASA stated they proved the proclaimed effects of sun gazing to be true. Sun gazing at sunrise and sunset/seth for an extended period of time would cause super human abilities such as losing the need of food to survive. Survival is not an issue anymore.
One of my brothers told me about this, and said that one of his friends sun gaze. Haven't tried it myself, so I really can't give any info you want. Didn't know sunset gazing could do anything to the pineal body. If such a simple method could provide so many benefits, I'm definitely up for it.

And they said 'there's no way around world hunger'...box minds.

Jeez, you people eat this kind of stuff up, huh?
Some habits die hard .... humans always tries to find something that gives them some kind of glimmer of hope that he is not bound to the mortal laws. Most fails to realize that if 'supernatural' phenomenon is in fact observable and replicatable then its a natural phenomenon .....

I totally agree with that statement. But unfortunately, for the general masses, it will be categorized with terms such as 'supernatural' or 'paranormal'. Because these concepts are indeed beyond the average person's comprehension.

Thats because of the way of presentation ..... Once Telephones and Trains were considered to be abomination, supernatural and harmful things (hyperbole ...... but some people did consider that phones wld transmit disease and trains wld destroy crop and make cows stop giving milk etc) .... and how the idiocy was cured? By making it available to the public and once they began to relate to these object through their own experience, the misconceptions cleared ...... But sadly the alternate 'facts' are presented is a horrible way, they a paraded to be unimaginable and supernatural, so why should people believe that is not natural at all? (The Hoaxes dont help either) Not to mention statrting off saying "I have heard/read ..." or "I never could but my 'friend' ....." sound fishy and detached ..... If u want to convince people, u need to get up and personal .....

Over that people have a natural resistance to newer ideas which is coupled with their curiosity cos in the end a mind wich is closed box is as dangerous as mind which is like the genitalia of a prostitute where anyone can put anything .... Let me give u an example: Durring the early Uranium/Radium boom, there was a widely spread misconception that it was a wonder drug and became an ingredient in bath salt, salves, and therapeutic muds ... and was touted as able to cure cancer (If they only knew) ..... some people bought that and some didnt and u can guess the result.

I tried it a couple of times and the only remarkable thing about it was that it looked like I saw the sun vibrating and changing colors. While sun gazing, my surroundings started glowing. A few trees visible in my peripheral vision started glowing as they do when I focus on looking at their aura, for example.

@Ausar; I'm sorry, but aren't you one of those dimwit christians I've seen before? You eat that that kind of stuff without even being able to interpret it's teachings the correct way. And I never stated I actually believe these phenomena to be 100% legit, but that does not take away my interest in it. I just talk about it with an open mind without making conclusions.

To summarize,

You're basically saying that people rather listen to rumors than 'try' it for themselves or gaining concrete information. It's all fear based, the same with the criminal law system against blacks and latinos.

What i basically saying is that rumors and 'oh i have heard' only spreads confusion .... people need to see, touch and feel in masses to understand or there will always be doubt....

Is that a new manga that came out?

I don't ''believe''.. Whatever's not a proven fact, is a possibility to me. Such is telekinesis. I just find it interesting.
Seeing aura is a fact though. I only know one other person who can see auras too (in rl) Which is my older cousin who wears a trust ring which our freemason gf gave him.
I can't say weather you are making fun of ppl or not ...

Ouch, resorting to personal insults? It's unfortunate that you so called "enlightened people" look down on supposed "dimwits". Take that ego down a few notches, you took my post out of context.

I merely made a witty remark regarding you and others' curiosity for this subject. If you couldn't pick that up, you're not as intelligent as I made you out to be.

All I'm saying is that someone who gives lip service to something and has no concept of it's actual content shouldn't be making ''witty'' remarks over something that has as much evidence and historical artifacts as what you belief to be true.
