Kenjutsu is a style of fighting where a person uses his weapon, usually a sword to perform a certain technique. The most known Kenjutsu users are Samurais because their fighting style is concentrated on fighting with swords, in combination with taijutsu. Other known Kenjutsu users are members of Seven Swordsman of the Mist and it's worth to mention that Kumogakure promotes the use of kenjutsu and thus has many of ninja who use kenjutsu a lot.

Kenjutsu means literally sword art/techniques, and it entails the usage of techniques that require swords. Kenjutsu could be performed by someone who is a samurai or a shinobi. It could also be combined with nin, tai and genjutsu and the chakra flow. It has been shown that the samurais of the land of iron are only able to use kenjutsu. It has also been shown that anbu members are pretty skilled with kenjutsu as well, same goes for the 7 ninja swordsman of the mist.

kenjutsu is simply the usage of swords in battle. it's the same as taijutsu in everything except that we don't use our fists but we use our swords. kenjutsu is also the most used techniques by a samurai character but they have their own techniques that can't be used by a ninja. Kenjutsu can be used in combination with taijutsu, ninjutsu, chakra flow and even genjutsu in order to achieve more devastating techniques. the sword used for kenjutsu can be enhanced with many elemental ninjutsu techniques like wind and lightning, although the wind is known for it's cutting ability but the usage of lightning to enhance the swords' cutting ability is greater so that Kiba (the twin swords of Ameyuri Ringo and Kurosaki Raiga) have gained the title of the sharpest swords ever.
from the known kenjutsu users: the seven swordsmen of the mist, sasuke and orochimaru with their swords of kusanagi, Hayate Gekko, and all samurais (including the fodder ones)

The man throws up the scroll into the sun skies and claps his hands together as if he was praying. The scroll explodes and releases out a white thick smoke. The men can hear metal hitting each other and stabbing into the ground. The white smoke clear and around the men are seen swords and katanas of different shapes and colors.

because kenjutsu is very interesting genre of fighting styles. I always keep distance between me and my enemies but I wanna learn kenjutsu so I can get into short range without hesitation

well...I want to learn kenjutsu because I'm not skilled in close combat and sword techniques, and if I learn kenjutsu It'll definitely make me stronger and more skilled. And it'll help me getting stronger in close combat, and simply because swords are cool O_O

I would like to learn Kenjutsu because it is a great skill and I like fighting in close range.It would greatly augment my fighting style.

Kenjutsu represent style of fighting of true warriers.Standing eye to eye with your opponent and fighting which is one of the things that is pulling me towards this style..It would realy help me out when it comes to close range fighting and i would like to have something that true warriers do.It will expand my knowledge as well.
I would like to learn Kenjutsu because I think that every ninja that hasn't learned it is not a real one because Kenjutsu was the anncient skill of samurai that we must inherit and transmit from generation to generation for it not to get forgotten and underrated because it can be very useful when used properly. Kenjutsu also represents close range fighting style, alongside Taijutsu and it's really import to have skills in close range combat also and have Kenjutsu as an easy solution when you don't have the time or space to perform a Ninjutsu technique and can still attack with a deadly move.
