Suddenly found interest in this type of threads so I will give it a go.
Lets first talk about Gaara first and look a little into his abilities and battles, just a brief insight.
Gaara, the 4th Kazekage.
- Looking through his abilities. He has not much to show first off, he does not have in his possession his tailed beast. So I doubt his chakra supply is big or powerful.
- When looking at his arsenal Gaara seems to be a very static fighter when it comes to his abilities. Now listen what I mean by static is well he only has been seen using jutsus that require sand release. Now it not a bad thing because well Gaara has perfected sand release greatly. He is able to create ultimate defenses with his sand release. A lot of powerful tools and attack that revolve around the ability of sand. But the most important factor in his sand release is he has great long range battle abilities. He has one jutsu where can use his sand to float and move about. Giving him extreme amount of mobility in battle.
- His intelligence in battle though its not lack luster at the same time its not anything we have not seen before. It seems his main battle style is to defend and use his sand to his advantage mainly in a battle field outside. Where he would be able to take a lot of shots unharmed and look outside with his third eye jutsu to decipher any possible opening, after he takes a good look and finds one he attacks with his sand. So intelligence in battle is not something very noted.
Now that we have covered Gaara we can move onto to briefing Sasuke.
Sasuke Uchia
- Being an Uchia you can quickly figure out due to his blood line towards the SO6P his chakra is much more pure and powerful
- He has the Sharingan which is probably one of the greatest tools any ninja in history can have. With his Sharingan he gets a obvious edge in short range battles because he is able to follow his opponents movements with ease. But something even more serious is he has the freaking EMS which puts him into a different level of being able to fight close range.
- Due to having the EMS there are obvious things he has that again make him very powerful. First to note is Tsukiyomi which is regarded as the most powerful genjutsu. Basically anyone caught in the genjutsu is done for. Sasuke can manipulate the world of Tsukiyomi to completely baffle his opponent though I doubt his level matches that of Itachi's or Madara's but it is still something to nore and respect. Another obvious things is Amaterasu the strongest flames which can't be burned out though it has been seen it is block able but with EMS Sasuke can summon as much of those bloody flames he want and not care about it. The fact they never extinguish and keep burning until the job is done will leave a serious mark in battle and can be used in a lot of tactics and it will be hassle for an opponent to try and dodge such fast flames. Only the 4th Raikage was seen (I believe) able to dodge but that was only be cause he anticipated it. Now ask yourself, can Gaara's sand block it in time? The last and most noteable is Susano'o though Sasuke has not been seen with a perfect form, Susano'o is still an amazing defense one that beats Gaara (said himself) and has properly some of the strongest mountain breaking attacks.
- Sasuke wide range of arsenal with his elemental chakra natures which revolve around lighting and fire. He has different varieties of chidori making again him a pain for short range battle. A large amount of fire style jutsus and well Kiri which pretty much scares you just a little bit.
- Lastly his intelligence in battle is very strong indeed. Shown against Itachi how he made Kiri, how he was able to counter Orochimaru, and Deidara.
Now that I some what took a little bit of there abilities lets see how they will be in battle.
When it comes to chakra I have to give it obvious to Sasuke with his blood line and all that he was born lucky. Also with the EMS and all the perks it comes with I don't see Gaara being able to block Susano'o attack or even try to penetrate Susano'o with straight forward attack. Sasuke has much more jutsus in his arsenal to use and has many different battle abilities he can use.
So I give this to the favorite Sasuke with EMS.
